    Ungas,

merong model ng XTRM na full grain leather seats na.

ang alam ko double action yung front shock niya.

BTW , your right about the tires kasi Michelin LTX/AT ang standard dun, matigas ba yun?

Another one, kapag Leaf Spring ang suspension EXPECT THE HARSH RIDE, am I right Diesel Peeps?

    sir frank dreblin,
how does double action shock absorber works?

iba ba ba ito sa regular shock?

Honestly, I won't and I never thought of doing it. I'd rather buy an aftermarket leaf spring in place of the oem.

i cant recommend any shops there in manila im from the province.

but with regards to less carrying capacity, it will be reduced by not by that much, you see AUV's are designed to carry 10 people so if you seldom carry that much load it is ok. its better than under inflating your tires, it will cause premature wear and handling will be affected, and its carrying capabilities.

i have an isuzu tfs-55, it was designed to carry loads of up to a ton, and i felt it has a very harsh ride, first i took the third from the bottom leaf spring, the ride improved and i still carry a lot of load, 4 truck tires with rims kayang kaya at long distances pa. then when my wife gave birth it was hard for the baby, so i inverted the last spring. it has been that way for 4 years already and i still did not break a leaf, i still carry loads with it. it rides a lot better a little softer than the new strada (which by the way has a great ride for a pick-up) and have you seen the leaf spring config of the strada, the overloads are spaced apart from the others, unlike most common pick-ups they stick to each other. so from six leafs to five left with the last one inverted.

btw i use OME on all fours it imroved the bouncing effect of the rear suspension. try to change your front shocks to stiffer ones, isuzu has very soft suspension settings in the front and for me it magnifies the hardness of the rear suspension. i use my pickup in going to the farm and quarry and the roads are really bad that i broke the orig rear shocks into two. it has logged 120k with no problems to the suspension, except the rubber bushings which needs replacing every 6 months.

its just a suggestion coz it worked fine for me and we did this to other pick-ups also, the shackles improved the ride much more. another observation i made about american trucks is that most of the leafs are long thus makes it ride softer. the shorter the leaf the harder it gets.

IMHO lang, maybe you can try it on your ride, let the casa do it.

may nakapagtry na ba gumamit ng kyb's? better (softer) ride ba than the original shocks? both front shocks are busted and needs replacement. considering replacing all four if there would be an improvement sa ride comfort. also, kung may nakakaalam ng part numbers, it would really be appreciated.

Thanks.
