Fact that it's an A/T, no clutch lining to replace. Another fact is Crosswind A/T variants do experience difficulty in acceleration --> particularly on inclined surfaces and when loaded.
A couple of questions:
1) When was the last time you had your XUV changed oil? -- poor maintenance contribute in poor engine performance.
2) What parts were replaced? -- may have been changed oil but didn't replace other standard related parts such as oil, fuel and air filter. These parts (if neglected) also has bearing in optimum engine performance
3) When experiencing difficulty accelerating or on uphill climbs, is the engine in normal operating temperature already? (temp needle should be somewhere in the middle of the gauge)

As a rule crosswinds are slower then sh#t, so pag matic lalo na siguro. I have an 03 XUVI and i have accepted the fact that its slow, 110kph is already a blessing from heaven (sumisigaw na to sa ganitong speed).
But yesterday my trip to La Union using an EX lancer, I had the surprise of my life.
I was really enjoying the power of the 4b11 engine zipping thru light NLEX traffic at 120kph-130kph just playin. Then when dad told me to slow down a bit, mellowed down to a 100kph. I was on the left lane. Then this sportivo trailing from behind very closely, started blinking his headlight, sabi ko aba ambisyoso tong Isuzung to ah, iniilawan ako( I know its limits I have one right?) so I increased speed to 110-115ish kph, he was still there ( I thought this guy is a freakin family driver walang paki sa sasakyan ng amo) iniilawan parin ako, so increased the speed to around 120ish kph, umagwat ng onti, pero di ako lumalayo ( sabi ko aba tado to ah) so increased speed to about 130kph, I just dont want the feeling of cars trailing me at those speeds, lalo na crosswind family.
Am I missing something here?, are sportivos faster than my 03XUVI? Magaling lang ba driver nun? Mabigat lang ba talaga ang XUVI compared to bare ones? O hirap na din yun pero wala paki driver?

If you've never driven an XUV AT before, you'd never know... they really are dog-slow... and you really do need to press down hard on the pedal to get them to go up parking ramps.
Top speed is in the 130-140 km/h range... depending on which direction the wind is blowing. If you're driving into the wind... 120?
MT Crosswinds are better... they can more easily hit 140 km/h... and the new MT Crosswinds are turbocharged, so it doesn't take them half-an-hour to get there, anymore.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
Probably looks like a Coke sakto. Yes, where did you buy it?
