I've tried 15w-40 rated oils na like petron rev-x trekker, Shell helix diesel, castrol CRD, and caltex delo gold 15w-40. tingin ko (subjective to ha), da best ang caltex delo gold saka yung castrol CRD in terms of value-for-money == mura pero ok :D

thanks for the update master jeepcruz
I'm almost due for my 85K oil change. kaya lang nakabili nako ng castrol GTX Diesel 15w-40. so far eto na mga nasubok kong engine oils
1. Isuzu IGMO (SAE40) = eto engine oil ko nung under warranty pa ko. = di gaano swabe. maingay pag matagal na.
2. Petron Rev-X trekker (15w-40 multigrade) = swabe
3. Shell Helix Diesel = medyo swabe pero maingay
4. Castrol CRD Plus 20W-40 = mas swabe
5. Caltex Delo Gold 15w-40 multigrade = super swabe :D
6. Caltex Delo Gold monograde SAE40 = di masyadong swabe

February 5th, 2010 11:46 AM #16hello sir...ok din po ang performance ng engine oil na ito...I already used it maybe thrice on my crosswind...influenced by my father on our grandia...kasi eto ang mabili sa cabanatuan city...swabe naman po sya but when I read other crosswinders ng best oil for crosswind...nagtry ako ng delo gold multigrade...and IMO mas swabe ang delo gold multigrade..pino ang takbo and tahimik ang makina...by that ako naman ang nakainfluence sa father ko to try delo gold multi..ayun very satisfied sya tapos yung grandia namin eh tumaas ang idle rpm nya after the oil change at naging pino and smooth ang takbo..

Ang pinaplano ko for now is Petron Rev-X trekker 15w-40 - Sa 170php per liter pala san my petron taguig, ung 1 pinsan supervisor doon pinsan ko kaya doon ap ako kuha.
no kaya ang maganda na alternate oil na ganun grade as well?

Yeah. People here has so much rave on the Caltex Delo Multigrade.
But , I have not tried it yet on my Crosswind and Fuego, both with 4JA1 engines.
Tried the Petron Trekker. Ok naman. Ang pinak-ayoko is the Shell Super Diesel. Lalong maingay takbo ng makina.
Currently using the Mobil Delvac MX. So far ok naman.
A mechanic acquaintance of mine told me a story that Castrol is supposed to the best oil according to laboratory tests done abroad. Personally, no experience yet with either the GTX or the CRB.
