April 10th, 2010 08:45 PM #1Good Day, mga bosing!
Pahingi naman ng mga comments with regard dito sa quotation para sa aking ISUZU XUV 2003 model from ISUZU, Sto. Tomas, Batangas:
* Need to pull down transmission to replace clutch kit.
LABOR..................... P 3570
PRESSURE PLATE....... 4729
RELEASE BEARING ..... 2822
PILOT BERAING ........ 300
CLUTCH DISC .......... 5195
TRANS OIL ............ 458
TOTAL ....... P 17,074
Mas pagkakatataon na nasabit pag nagcha-change gear ako at medyo matigas tapakan clutch ko. Kaya eto yung advise sakin. My odo reads 116,500 km.
Thanks mga bosing.

Mahal yan bro. Since your car is already out of warranty naman, why not try exploring reliable auto shops in your area? Try purchasing the parts yourself, you will learn a lot in this process also. Makakasave ka pa ng around 50% of the quoted price of the casa.

April 10th, 2010 09:29 PM #4it does seem mahal. but then, casa kasi. you can probably do it for a lot less if an independent mekaniko does it.

pre,
hope this helps.

April 15th, 2010 12:51 PM #9I would suggest sir, you first check the master and slave clutch kit for fluid leaks before changing the "clutch assembly".
Clutch kit master--under your clutch pedal(inside the cabin) check for oily leaks at the end of the pedal rod. (under the hood) also check the clutch fuild reservoir for any leaks.
Secondary clutch kit-- under your car you can find the slave clutch kit (with rubber boots) check for any visible oily leaks
If master and slave clutch kit seems ok, then you can proceed with the clutch assembly. And I would suggest that buy the clutch assembly parts here in manila (check other thread for suppliers of OEM parts). I will personally assure you that casa price is 100% more than shops outside. then you can have it replace by casa if you want.
