isuzu has tons of accessories(snorkels) and the engine and tranny(5th gear overdrive for the automatic) are awesome.

    Really!?

Hehe, it's only half a tank for the D-max 3.0 Ddi-iTEQ, perhaps even for the Alterra, same leg - Metro Manila-Baguio-Metro Manila. That is only about PhP1,600 to 1,700 at an assumed PhP43.50 per litre, Petron Diesel Max.

    Cheers!

4x4 Automatic will be slow (hence only a manual is offered in AU)

still malaking impact pa din kung hindi babaguhin yung shape ng windows and pillars. Sa biglang tingin hawig pa din. But of course magastos na i alter yung part na yun..

Reminded me of the previous gen Ford Ranger and Mazda BT-50, sobrang noticable ang platform sharing.

    ____

Laki ng binawas sa wheelbase from the previous gen.

Baka naman may ginawang kakaiba isuzu para maluwang pa din. May review na ba nang actual unit with comparison sa previous gen?

He said that if Isuzu brings the VGS engine here and puts an auto climate control A/C on the new D-Max LS 4x4 A/T, it will be more expensive than the Colorado LTZ 4x4 A/T. Eh ayaw ng Isuzu ng ganun, kaya they decided to scrimp out on the features of the new D-Max para maging mas mura kesa Colorado.

Sa economies of scale ata nayayari isuzu. Whatever the reason, bad trip pa din luma pa din engine at tipid pa din sa features. Parating na pa naman new fort at everest. Lalo mababawasan sales nila.
