I've been playing movies from my phone/flash drive ok naman. What I don't like is the lack of input options like separate HDMI or video input sana. And since they replaced the OEM HU, nawala tuloy yung option na i adjust ang brightness kaya watching movies at night time can be straining.
Siguro nga it was from my phone. I was connected via bluetooth when I streamed the music. I have to get back to my dealer again to test a direct music. So were you able to play videos from USB sa rear roof mounted monitor? I was told kasi na it only works for DVD.

Yes, not sure though kung pwede basahin yung hard drives, I tried connecting my 32GB flash drive di nababasa, but my other 16GB works fine, nababasa agad.

Both my phones have the same settings (extreme quality, offline), sa isa ang linaw at malakas, sa isa naman sobrang hina ng voice, I had to turn the volume up madinig ko lang yung kumakanta which ruins the quality nga.

It could be the formatting ntfs vs fat32. Some head units cannot read both.

    Hi,

I am also stuck right now too. I already made some research on the preventive maintenance and here's what i found out:

    Every kms: 15,25,35,45... = Php 4,7xx.xx
    Every kms: 10,30,50,70... = Php 7,1xx.xx
    Every kms: 20,40,60,80... = Php 17,xxx.xx

First 1000 and 5000 thou free labor sabi ng dealer.

Here's my opinion on your choices:

Fortuner: Malapit na ung 2016 model if you could wait until February. Medyo luma na kasi ung engine nya right now.
Montero: Meron din 2016 model. I tried the GLX test drive, di ko nagustuhan handling probably due to the turbo na di ko nafeel at the start.
HRV: considered this too. However dealer said its 3 to 6 months waiting time right now and medyo maliit. SUV version ng city/civic
CRV: medyo luma na rin engine niya. not sure about the gas consumption kasi 2nd gen was a guzzler.

Right now, I have limited my choices to 3:
    1. Isuzu MU-X - liked the handling and size especially i have 2 kids but didn't like the entertainment sound system sa test unit na dinrive namin but others mentioned na okay naman ung sounds. In terms of guage display naman, im not that impressed sa display.
    2. Mazda CX5 - great handling, very impressed with interior. pero 5 seater lang and medyo mas mahal pero may 3 year all parts and labor free (yojin3).
    3. Ford Everest 2015 - Sabi ng ford, last week of August magkakaroon na sila ng test units. Though mas mahal ung variant na mid level nasa 1.539M and 1.639M ung high.

We are running out of time right now as we would like to have na this coming long weekends especially our only car (2004 Vios) is giving up on us. Given our budget, we are really inclined to get the MU-X na by this week unless our Mazda dealer offer us an irresistible one.

Good luck on your research. It's really hard to choose what car to buy using our hard earned money!

Meh, branch a sabi sakin may kasama na A/C filter at pinapalitan every 20K KM. Inquired about it nung 20K PMS sa branch b wala sila idea. Buti na lang sa group may taga Isuzu, nabigay pa niya part number para makapag order sa Parts Department. IPC doesn't even sell the filter cover.

Isa pa, branch b di niya ma confirm kung mineral or synthetic blend ilalagay nila, I had to ask branch a kung anong blend ba ang nailagay.

Thanks swissarmy sa average PMS cost, di ko na na mmonitor kung magkano ba. All I know is ang gastos ng every 5K PMS. Even with free labor around 3-6K yata depende pa sa CASA pero ngayon standard na pricing nila.

Sa current models naman, lack of ESC deal breaker na sakin, now that countries in EU made it a hard requirement pa, safety features over engine specs for me.

This is a bad sign of what kind of service IPC can offer. Why are they not standard para silang magkakaibang company. Kanya-kanya sila ng method which practically means nothing is different from doing PMS outside casa. This is one reason i am not a believer of casa maintenance.
