November 2nd, 2017 09:09 AM #10614that would depend, po.
one can make a conclusion at the first month of ownership, kung na-marketing ploy kayo.
then, after 5 years, evaluate and decide again, based on those 5 years' experience, kung na-marketing ploy nga kayo.
sometimes kasi, it is the novelty of the car, that is confused for "something else".
pa-akyat sa MOA or any other multi-storey parking building, with a car that size, buwelo is not the issue. size is.
heh heh.
my opinion.Last edited by dr. d; November 2nd, 2017 at 09:13 AM.

Well it also depends on the preference of the owner. How he intends to use it. I bought the fortuner supposedly for daily beating and for long trips. Turns out all I like about it is its interior. I tend to use the mux andmy prado for daily use for comfort....and more comfort. I guess yan ang preference ko. But for those who want a more sporty city driving experience, ok naman ang fort. Short bursts ang upside niya. Pero for long stretches, that sub 140whp and 315wtoque doesnt do it any good. Yubg 2.8 4wd model pwede pa.

Yung fort ko was a 2016 model so we owned it for more than a year na. Hehe. I think I pretty much have a feeling na of its ownership. Yung mux ko naman since 2015 yan. Spartan yes but really like how ot rides. And sa mga nagsasabi na tahimik ang fort, yes on idle pero pag inapakan mo, mas maingay siya kesa sa 2.5 mux.

Mux 2.5 vs fort 2.4. Mas lazy ang mux sa lower revs but 0 to 100 times the same at around 13 secs.
Mux 3.0 blue has the same 0 to 100 times with montero at 11 secs.
Pag performance kasi I relate it to engine. Sa SUV naman I want good comfort not much on the sporty stiff side. Otherwise I wouldve bought a crossover.
As Ive said, and this is coming from a fortuner owner, overpriced ang fort. I dont see any value here except for parts availabilityband repair networks of toyota.
Montero and mux ang previous option ko. Yes another mux and not a fortuner because I like my 2015mux better than my 2016 fort.
