I am in Manila! I bought the car from Cebu and shipped it to Manila. The car is currently here. How do I get in touch with Joseph? Do you think he will be able to fix the electronic climate control thing? Althought the aircon is now currently working I am still not 100% happy with it. because of the following
1. The thermostat controller does not seem to work. Whether your set it at 18 C or 29 C the temp of the air coming out is still the same. Which leads me to conclude the the thermostat must be stuck in one setting because although air coming out is cool, hindi ganun ka lamig considering that I have replaced EVERYTHING (dryer, condenser, evaporator, seals) in the AC system save for the compressor (which is working perfectly and smoothly).
2. The engine does not idle up when the compressor activates making the engine shake. I know that increasing the idle speed would solve this but I would want it to function properly sana instead. (How do you adjust Idle speed on Diesel engines by the way?)

Jai sana d mo pinapalitan ang dryer, condenser, evaporator, seals kasi baka ang problema ng aircon mo katulad ng kay gary baliktad ang pagkakabit ng aircon kaya pala d lumalamigt inayos lang ni joseph ayon naayos pati ang mga vent lahat pinagana ni joseph. I have also bighorn 5 door same with gary OK ang climate control niya gumagana lahat tama si kimpoy dalhin mo nalang kay joseph sigurado maayos niya yan at macheck niya pati convertion ng steering mo kung okay. worth it naman ang gagastusin mo.

Actually yung mga evaporator, condenser and dryer kailangan na talaga palitan kasi my butas na talaga. I have schedule na with Joseph this saturday, sana talaga maging ok na yung aircon ko para I could move on na with other planned work ko sa trooper.

My nag rarattle sa likod ng instrument panel ko na sobrang irritating when stuck in traffic. Akala ko dati inggay ng makina lang tapos upon listening closer parang nangagaling sa likod ng dashboard. eto ang next mission ko hehehe

Jai: I can't help but smile with the small problems that you're having. Don't get me wrong. I'm not enjoying it but these things really go with the territory. Anyways, sorry baliktad pala intindi ko. Sa Manila ka pala. Paayos mo lahat kay Joseph. Nga pala pati yung mga micro bulbs ko sa lahat ng switches pinapaltan ko so umiilaw lahat. Yung A/C system mo kung sa Subic lang yan sigurado baliktad kabit nyan. You see A/C syst work like close loop control systems. May sensor (elec thermostat), may actuator ( in this case the electrical syst turning the compressor ON/OFF) and yung final element which is the compressor. Pag mali pagkabit ng mga elements di 100% ang takbo. Can you imagine yung sensor ko was before the evaporator? (its sensing the air before! passing through the evaporator coils). Dun dapat ang sensor kasi it will then give a feedback kung malamig na yung air after the evaporator. Yung drain hose binaligtad din ni Joseph so nasa firewall talaga at nakasundot sa butas. Wag mona pakabitan ng aux fan coz kaya naman ng stock fans. Palagay ka rin ng ducts for the rear seats. 10K charge niya for the A/C setup. May mga pix nga pala ako nung ginawa niya.

2. Yung idle up, vacuum syst yan. Makikita mo sa tabi ng injection pump. May mahaba na shaft na nakakabit sa flying saucer(he!he). Pag ON ng A/C may isang solenoid opening vacuum line to pull the idle up syst. I posted a complete A/C diagram sa galleries before.
3. Yung rattle, madali lang makita yan coz madali lang tanggalim yung cluster. Papaltan mo na rin yung mga bulbs sa cluster. Mura lang yun.

I don't have my Trooper na but I hope I can buy another in the near future if funds permit. May iba pa akong plans ngayon.

Don't forget to ask Joseph for my commission, OK? (joke lang bro) UST Mechanical Eng'r yun kaya click kami coz ECE din ako. Mas matanda ata siya sa akin.

talked to him na and told him na nirefer mo ako. Sa sat ng umaga ako pupunta dun para ma diagnose nya na yung oto. I hope maayos nya yung thermostat ng aircon. From my talk with him on the phone mukhang alam nya na gagawin nya.

Actually lahat ng ilaw sa lahat ng switch at lahat ng indicator lights sa dash ko gumagana (as in lahat even the dimmer of the dash lights is working. Even yung sa my lighter and even the beeping sound when you open the door with the keys still in the ignition, yun nga lang pag passenger side ang bubuksan tsaka tumutunog hahaha..

Sa Cebu kinonvert to not in Subic.

by the way, what is the purpose of the STABI switch dun sa my shifter? maganda ba Caltex Delo Gold na langis para sa trooper or yung synthetic blend?

Stabi switch? Don't tell me may stabilizer release ang unit mo? Astig yan. hehe. It allows the rear wheel to articulate more when off-roading.

yup it has a switch dun sa may center console beside another switch I think is for a seat warmer feature of the recaro installed. When you turn off the stabi switch the "Stabi Off" sign is displayed sa my instrument cluster. Ewan ko lang kung nag fufunction

yup. yung mga Irmsher model meron stabilizer switch talaga. May even the newer models like Palisir, etc. Kung umiilaw sa cluster, it must be working pero normally sa left lower side ng instr.panel nakakabit but hey it works.
