I also have a Note 4, with a Spigen case. No problem at all with the magnet mount as long as nasa gitna yung magnet para even weight distribution.

Magnet mounts are much, much more convenient than grip mounts. Hassle yung may pipindutin ka pa para magbukas yung grip, not to mention it looks so bulky.

Magnet mount, dikit lang, and you're off. Looks much cleaner too.

so my question is, is the mountek snap + magnetic cd car slot useable in the monty '12 dashboard layout? is anyone here using one in the previous generation montero sport?

btw, there's already a mountek air snap wherein the mount is positioned and clamped on the a/c vents. the problem is it's only available in the usa at the moment. its worldwide release was scheduled a few days back so i doubt if it's already available in the country and i'm not sure if it'll work on the monty's a/c vents although it's supposedly universal though

Meron china copy sa olx bro for only 350 php
Not an exact copy but works just the same.

I borrowed a friend's magnetic mount to compare. Di daw niya ginagamit kasi sobrang hina daw ng magnet. I tried it for myself. And yes, madali nga matanggal when driving on not so smooth roads. So i tried sticking the mount sa ref. Madali pa ring matanggal. So magnet nga ang problema.

Posted below yung aking mountek ngroove na clip type at yung magnetic type. Both cd mount.

What magnet did you use for your Mountek? This is what I have for my Note 4:

I have also tried putting the magnet inside the phone (since the rear cover is detachable). This way, you can mount the phone even without a case.

I stopped using my mountek.

Coincidence or not? I don't know.

    I changed phone.

I'm using IP6S Plus, bumper lang case ko.

I've tried it with an iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 6, Note 4 and Note 5. Never naghang or anything unusual.

Baka nakacharge phone mo habang nakamount?

yep i already checked out that site yesterday but the curved back design of my cel may deter the earth magnet from doing its job effectively that's why i'm leaning towards getting the iottie easy flex 3 na lang

O buti you pointed that out! I forgot to mention the phone is plugged in too hehe habit ko na din kasi na naka charge yung phone basta nasa kotse ako.

So that's the culprit then? Bakit kaya?

Cable problems? Im using genuine cables naman.

    Sorry OT.

Yep baka nga dahil naka charge.

iPhone 5 ko madali magoverheat pag nakacharge tapos nakaWaze. You should also check your car charger. If it's generic, could cause hanging.

    *ninjababez
i use a note2 for navigation (waze). same weight lang sila halos ng note4 ni jut. and yeah, generic china from olx yung nahiram ko. thinking baka better kung mountek brand baka mas malakas ang magnet.
