Magnetic Mobile Phone Mount

Just want to ask if people are using these, and how is their set-up?

Planning to get one, but all I've seen so far are those from Power Mac Center. They're a little overpriced IMO.

EDIT: Just saw the Mountek Snap in another thread. Interesting placement. Won't the CD slot get damaged in the long run with the such a mounting?

Using the mountek snap plus, napabili na ako since andame na din users nun dito sa tsikot. Satisfied naman ako.

As per the CD slot, sa bungad lang naman siya naka paloob kaya tingin ko no issues naman.

As per the CD slot, sa bungad lang naman siya naka paloob kaya tingin ko no issues naman.

ang magnetic minsan may epekto sa mga sensor at display ng cellphone may mga nabibili namang mga clip lang tapos naka dikit sa salamin ayaw mo ba nun..

No problems so far with my Mountek Snap+ on any of my phones. Works perfectly.

Meron nabibili sa digibabe. Magnet na ilalagay sa phone tapos magnet sa sasakyan+ holder sa aircon vent na may magnet

Yep!

Ayoko kasi yung mounted sa windshield i feel my view is obstructed.

Ang ok sa mountek madali maalis at ikabit. No clips or whatsoever.

I doubt any dash-mounted or windshield-mounted phone holder looks as neat as a CD-mounted one:



Also, a magnetic phone holder not only looks cleaner (no clips protruding), but it's also much, much easier to mount and dismount. It takes several seconds to mount/dismount a phone with clip holders, while mounting/dismounting with a magnetic holder is instantaneous. I get to text while at a stoplight, then put my phone back on its mount right before the light goes green.

For those who find the Mountek Snap+ too pricey, there's a seller on OLX with a generic CD slot magnetic mount that looks identical to InfiniApps' Slyde mount, for only 1k. Was supposed to get this before, but it was out of stock when I was buying so I went with the Snap+ instead.
