The date of the recall was August of 2006. Remedies were made. It's very clear. US has strict regulations in car safety AFAIK. I don't believe the car dealers in the Philippines are lacking in that department either. This was a serious issue but it was reported to NHTSA. Again, no units were sold untill the problem was remedied. Are we saying the report was false? That the remedy was bogus? Are we suggesting SF sold in the Philippines might ignite all of a sudden? IS it just paranoia? Or, are we looking for skeletons?
In other car makes, their were flaws too. Its not worth mentioning anymore so as not to offend others. But as long as car manufacturers address the issues and defects, then I don't see why those are not great rides. At least AFAIK, SF passed US and Europe standards and are selling. We do not manufacture cars here, they are delivered to us. So, I would assume that Korean cars assembled there are low quality? Let's be reasonable,. Smoke doesn't always indicate fire. Nuff said. Peace be with you.

DI naman defensive, just straightening up. hehehe
Kasi it's a non-issue already. all 139 affected units were not sold to customers and fixed at dealerships pa lang.
So why bother?
