Hi, how do you close your Tailgate Window? Not tailgate ah, magkaiba yun, tailgate is the door.
do you close it like closing a trunk? or gently pushing it to close?

gently pushing it to close lang baka kasi madamage yung glass. remember, all glass yun with hydraulic lifts at walang metal frame. handle with care nalang tayo.

you have to push it pa rin to lock pero not too much pressure to be safe.

Its glass. So just close it more gently than you do with the tailgate door. I find that it doesn't need much effor to get it closed.

Eto ang sabi sa manual - 'To close the tailgate window, lower the tailgate window and it will close by itself. To be sure the tailgate window is securely fastened, try to pull it up again.'

yung tailgate door pag binaba..magsasara magisa because mas mabigat.

pero pansin ko sa tailgate window, it does not close by itself e.kasi parang may lock sya na kailangan mong i-push pa din.

Need to apply some force to close it, but not as much as closing the tailgate....

That is one cool feature -pop-up tailgate window we have, bro.... Vert easy to stack things in the back....

I think this one should be merged with the Tucson thread.

the pop-up tailgate window is indeed a very nice feature to have. but sad to say, there is none in the 2010 Tucson iX.

so hooray to the 2005-2009 model Tucsons! at least we have this cool feature. hehe

Just don't bang it like what you do on your tailgate ( though, banging your tailgate so hard can break the tailgate itself too. )

Apply a little force then there you go, you've successfully closed your tailgate window without shattering the glass.

I think a google of the words Tucson + Tail gate window + closing will do the trick. In tsikot or anywhere else.
