    sir OTEP,

clarify ko lang, the picture below is not Gen2 Galloper?

if so, Gen1 din pala yung tag 240K?!? So basically it shouldn't be that expensive compared to the boxtype one. kamontik na kong maloko ng agent na yun ah

All Gallopers are based on GEN I Pajeros. I don't know what the Koreans called the facelifted ones, I just call them 'earlier' and 'later' models.

Hyundai did not license the GEN II Pajero. They developed the Terracan SUV instead.

Sir, in your own opinion po. If they're selling the "earlier" Galloper for 190K, how much lang dapat ang "later" Galloper? considering that they have the same conditions on all aspects. balak ko kasing tawaran yung "later" Galloper

Naku, mga nasa Php230k nga iyan. Check mo year of manufacture (usually naka-stamp iyan sa seatbelt tags). Mas bago, mas mahal. Don't base it on the year of importation (when it was first registered locally).

Mas mahal din ang matic. Kung between gas at diesel, mas mura ang gas considering same age and condition.

    Mga Sirs,

buhayin ko lang po ulit tung thread na to coz until now i'm still looking for the perfect galloper for me. dami ko nang nakitang gallopers pero lahat sila merong kulang. I'm looking for a Galloper 2, yung M/T na naka rear coilspring na. Meron po bang Galloper 2 na ganun? Coz I found a M/T galloper 2 once, pero leaf spring pa. and then when i found a M/T galloper2 na naka rear coilspring na sana, non-dual A/C naman??? Ano bayan?

Heto po nga pala mga additional questions ko, sana po mabigyan nyo ng kasagutan:

    1. Fuel Economy wise: which is better, Turbo or TDIC? Mostly ginagamit ko lang kase in the city, everyday service to work.
    2. Comfy ride: is there really a big difference between a rear leaf spring from a rear coil spring?
    3. Baket po kaya merong Galloper 2 na non-dual A/C? didn't Hyundai think that it wouldn't be practical? wala lang... i just cant believe na merong Galloper 2 na namanufacture na ganun

    Would really appreciate your replies

been back reading, why a galoper and not a true pajero? i've heard may mga issues about plastic door handles that tend to break off.

no turbo - no maintenance (wala kasing turbo), yes may maintenance din ang turbo (search sa other threads), slower response. IMO less fuel consumption.

turbo - same as above but a little faster response (though not that dramatic)and more fuel consumption.

turbo intercooler - more components due to the turbo, intercooler, tubings, etc, faster response (usually sa take off and passing) and a little more fuel consumption.

when i say more fuel consumption around 2-3 km per liter but again this would rely on your driving style and maintenance of your ride.

    thanks sir afrasay,

may nabasa kase kong article na mas fuel efficient ang turbocharged kaysa N/A coz better ang fuel combustion, thus you dont need to press more on the accelerator because of faster response.

pero pwede naman po na hindi ko gamitin ang TDIC diba? by avoiding higher rpm that activates it? in this way po ba, i could achieve the fuel economy of a N/A diesel engine kahit may TDIC ang galloper ko?

i chose the galloper coz matanda na po ang pajero gen1, di ko naman ma-afford ang gen2. so far, wala naman pong reklamo ang officemate ko na galloper owner sa mga plastic sa loob. and he's claiming na 9-10 km/L ang takbo nya city drive whereas yung mga tinanong kong pajero gen1 owner, 7-8 km/L lang...im confused nga e

anyway, sana merong makasagot sa tanong ko on the rear suspension. kaya nahihirapan akong maghanap coz most of them naka leafspring pa

I used to drive a GEN I before going to the GEN II. I was surprised that the ride wasn't as punishing as a pick ups or like an L300 kaht leafspring ang GEN I. Siguro dahil high profile tires. Test drive mo muna, baka ok din lang sa iyo ang ride.

Rear a/c is an option. My winter and cold climates sa ibang area ng Korea so hindi masyadong atat sa a/c ang mga tao dun.

Even dun sa GEN I ko dati, adequate naman ang single a/c kasi first two rows lang usually may nakasakay.
