hi! does anyone know where i can buy a luggage screen for the tucson? thanks!
Good day mga sir,
Thank you sir!
Miguel: 20k pms ko 2 weeks ago at Hyundai Pasig. Parang 11k inabot.
Does anyone know how much ang brake pads for the Tucson GLS? What brand ba sya?
musta po sa lahat ng tucson lovers, 'gone through the manual but wasn't able to find if the theta is belt driven, chain or gear. observe ko lang sa sound ng engine on idle mode parang chain driven . . tama po ba?
also, i read an article na there are two models of the theta engine: I and II. which one kaya ang nakamount sa ix35 model 2012? getting to know palang po kase sa unit ko kaya dami query
I am considering to purchase 2011 TUCSON THETA II CVVT GAS 2.0 GL 2WD MT.
I have personally seen the said vehicle in a showroom but was not able to test drive.
Hope you can provide me some information based on your actual experience or that of someone else you know.
My daughter will be graduating High School this March 2012 and I will be giving her (as a graduation gift) her own vehicle. She will be using the vehicle as her daily drive when she goes to College. Our house is located somewhere in Teachers Village, Q.C. and she will be going to College somewhere in McKinley Hills, Taguig (About 32 Kilometers Round Trip).
My initial reason for considering the subject vehicle are the following:
1. Exterior Looks (Fluid Design)
2. Interior Feel (Looks Elegant)
3. Price PhP 988,000 (Within the Maximum Budget of 1M)
MY CONCERNS:
1. Fuel Consumption. How many KM per Liter City Driving?
2. Availability of Parts. Is it readily available at CASA? If not, normal waiting time for parts be it minor or major?
3. Durability. From what I have read so far, It seems that there are a lot of minor as well as major issues showing already even if the vehicle is under 1 year.
OPTIONS:
My final and definite fallback vehicle will be the new 2012 Toyota Avanza 1.5G MT.
FINAL WORD:
I really need some "great convincing" for me to finally reconsider and decide to get the 2011 TUCSON THETA II CVVT GAS 2.0 GL 2WD MT.
To be honest, all my doubts came in after reading this forum "Re: Issues sa Tucson 2010".
Hope you can help! Thanks in advance!!!
Hi guys,
i posted this on the Modifications thread but i feel this is more appropriate here...
can anyone tell me where you got your Tucson's matting? I am looking for rubber mats that are made for our cars or at least the closest you can get... pati the BOOT Mat at the back... rubber para easier to clean sana..
hope you guys can help...
parang ganito sana...![]()
pag city driving medyo malakas sa gas ang tucson.. average is 7-8km/LOriginally Posted by aimphilippines
Availability of Parts. Is it readily available at CASA? If not, normal waiting time for parts be it minor or major?
for the 2011 batch of tucson i think na address na lahat ng issues. bought mine (GLS) last year month of april. so far so good3. Durability. From what I have read so far, It seems that there are a lot of minor as well as major issues showing already even if the vehicle is under 1 year.
only thing i experienced is brake noise and stablink issue.
kung under 1m ang budget, how about top of the line entries for elantra or jazz with all the safety and other goodies?OPTIONS:

one of my important concerns in buying a car is safety. you can add 150k more for the GLS that comes with ABS and EBD.FINAL WORD:

Thanks SG!
By any chance, meron ka bang phone number ng Fronte or Good Gear?
aimphilippines:
1. Fuel Consumption. How many KM per Liter City Driving?
I get 5-7 km/l City
10-15 km/l Country
2. Availability of Parts. Is it readily available at CASA? If not, normal waiting time for parts be it minor or major?
I waited 1 month when my compressor broke down. It also took 3 weeks to replace a bumper and fender (including repainting it).
Pero caveat lang, this was back in 2011 (my unit is 2010) so it was still considered fairly new.
3. Durability. From what I have read so far, It seems that there are a lot of minor as well as major issues showing already even if the vehicle is under 1 year.
So far sa akin only the compressor failure ang major. Lahat naman ng auto kahit BMW and Mercedes may ganyan. I had friends who experienced that. Mas maganda nga lang service nila kesa Hyundai.
Minor, pero Power Locks sometimes wont work. Parang once every 4 or 5 months hindi sya gagana. All I do is turn off the engine and restart it.
I didnt get the stab link issues that plagued the 2010 batches.
Pa feedback naman, I will be bring my tucson kasi for PMS tomorrow bought it Jan 2010, I am contemplating whether to ask for the ECU firmware upgrade or not.
TIA
good day mga bro...
