Hi! I just bought my tucson GL last month and so far I'm loving it. I already have 2k mileage on it and so far my best FC is 6.4 L/100km traveling from Bulacan to Calamba. What kind of intrigues me is that this awesome FC happened twice when I had my car filled with gas (of course, also twice) in a Caltex gas station somewhere in Nagtahan. Any thoughts?

I'm going to add another data point to this observation tomorrow when I pass by that same gas station. :D

Guys need your opinion,newbie here. I have a query to my new TUCSON GL A/T 2011 and hoping for your input.

When my car speed reached from 120-150 km/hr the gear was in 6th * around 3400rpm and when i try to increase my speed to > 150km/hr, it makes downshift to 5th gear and simultaneously the rpm reached to 4500 under steady gas pedal. The speed keep increasing till 180km/hr with around 5200rpm, it didnt return back to 6th gear which i am expecting. I keep on waiting for 20min maybe it will shift to 6th gear but it didnt. When i depress a little on the pedal, it return back to 6th gear, rpm became 4000 and the speed/rpm gradually decreasing till 150km/hr and 3400 respectively.
Is this normal?

do you experience the same?

Sir it's just normal kasi A/T yan unit mo e. Ganyan talaga pag diniinan mo ang pedal mag dodownshift siya. If you want it to shift up depress the pedal and press on the pedal slowly. Huwag mong bibiglain kasi magdodownshift talaga ang unit mo.

It's better to use the sequential manual mode kung bigla kang hahataw..

repost ko lang yung tinanong ko issue thread. anyone here experienced having a burnt smell coming from the a/c when you reach 140 kph and goes away when you go below the said speed? i have a GLS 2.0 a/t.

Hindi ko naman alam yung plano.. Nagulat ako may humahataw na gray titanium at lumagpas sa akin eh..
