Doc Vince Type S ang brand sa ACE hardware, piliin mo yung naka bend.
Walang installation needed, LED run by battery inside. May button to turn the light ON.

I could only hazard a guess that said Garmin unit being sold by Maspro is pre-loaded with an "openstreetmap" or the standard map from JKLinc.
I have been using a Garmin Nuvi 205 since last year, but mine has an advanced contributor's map (as in BIG difference compared to the standard map) from JKLinc / www.Roadguide.ph. If you have time, kindly check the forum section of roadguide.ph.
What particular unit are you interested in? I'm not an expert in this but I suggest that if you're really inclined to get a Nuvi, purchase the newer Nuvi xx5 series...it has an improved chipset/firmware that allows the unit to acquire satellite signals faster.

However, there is a local (nationwide) GPS users communityin "www.Roadguide.ph" that's currently building up the database of streets, traffic routing, locations/points of interest, etc. I was given access to the group's contributor's map after I supplied the names of the streets in downtown Batangas City. With the aid of my Nuvi, I have also been able to contribute the locations/waypoints of several business establishments and points of interest (including Maspro and Hyundai EDSA-Greenhills) like Barangay Halls, churches, malls, parking areas, and even traffic routing corrections, etc. Medyo ito ang naging hobby ko ngayon.
If anyone here gets an advanced map from roadguide.ph, check out the round-about at Timog corner Tomas Morato...contribution ko yun, hehehe.
Absolutely right. Marami pang kulang and the Philippine map that can only be ran through Garmin is still in its developing stage. All contributions are welcome and as a gesture of appreciation, all contributors can download a more "updated" version of the map. In fact, everyone is encouraged to be a contributor dahil ito ay community effort. The reason I bought a nuvi 760 is because I also want to contribute. Some obscure side streets still may not be there but the main thoroughfares are quite accurate. So actually owning one is not bad. Aside from it's handy, there are voice prompts but you have to be careful also dahil may mga turns na dapat hindi sundin while you are driving. The traditional map is still the best in accuracy and welcome but you cannot just spread it in front of your steering wheel while driving.
hirap talaga pumunta sa maspro, kahit sakto lang dala mo pera napapagastos pa rin nang sobra. i went there this morning for my LED signal lights, but benjie showed me the SR spoiler. at first i tried to ignore him and even told him that my money is just enough for the LED lights. sabi ba naman, may BDO naman daw diyan sa unahan
. kaya ayon tuloy, napa-withdraw wala sa oras for the spoiler. hay buhay
consuelo lang is, umalis akong naka-ngitikase wafu talaga pag may spoiler hehehe

Oh drats! Now I have the time to go see Maspro pero tumawag ako wala na daw silang rear spoiler for Superior Red. By the end of the month pa daw. I will still have the craving by month's end... Or is it God's way of telling me "Tama na ang gastos!"![]()
Ah ikaw pala yun. No worries sir sprinter. Enjoy your rear spoiler!
OT: Ladyrider, nice meeting you po yesterday. Thank you din sa cookies. :eat:
Ganda nga nung kenwood ni Ladyrider, lalo na pag DVD source, surround sound - parang concert hall. Ganda rin price.![]()
