when you say sound sa alarm do you mean the chirp chirp? there is no charge to have this activated sa casa but also take note not all casas have the equipment to do this. i only know Hyundai Pasig/C5 has the equipment, I don't know about the others.

IMO the chirping sound is not loud enough to attract attention....

nung wala pa akong aftermarket alarm,i was insecured with the"chirp chirp" sound...so later i decided to connect the alarm system with the stock/aftermarket horn.Kaya pag nag activate yung stock alarm sumasabay sa chirp chirp yung bosch europa horn.

later i need some additional sensors like shocks/perimeter/etc so i upgraded...
even with an aftermarket alarm -intact pa rin ang orig alarm... and during PMS yung remote ng keyless entry ang iniiwan ko sa casa

it took about 2 hours kasi they have to make a bracket pa. all I can say is the workmanship is great malinis ang pagkagawa kahit yung line direct to the battery kala mo stock...

hello there. this is my first post in this thread. i've been reading this thread and i noticed that maspro seems to be the supplier of choice of sta fe tsikoteers. any particular reason why?

we got our sta fe last week and i've been browsing the internet to know where i can get the best deals on accessories. i'm planning to the buy the following:
1. mudguards
2. stepboard
3. backing sensor (2 butas will do)
4. car mat
5. tint for windshield

other than maspro, do you know of other stores within the metro manila area which carry sta fe accessories?

have you heard of seiring along araneta ave? called them up and they said they were selling mudguards for 220 apiece. the stepboard 16300 + 1500 (labor) = 17800. very cheap compared to maspro's mudguard which cost 350 apiece and stepboard 19000. could maspro be selling superior brands or could they have quoted me the undiscounted price?

will appreciate your advice. thanks.

seiring sells OEM parts for Hyundai and KIA...
based on canvass they had the lowest price for mudguards and stepboards.......hindi naman maselan installation nyan-so go for it

Sa Goldcar/Goldrich dami rin accessories....ang problema lang dyan installers...
one SF owner had a rear spoiler installed without covering the original 3rd brake lights
another SF owner had a horn upgrade with poor bracket/wirings

Sa Winterpine....one SF owner had her HID for headlights with poor/loose bulbs sockets conversion

Sa LA Cars i had my HU installations- very bad
also had my HID with loose bulbs sockets

re car mat...dami choices sa Banawe, pwede ka rin pa customise ng 3M

try mo muna magpa fit ng rack and take a look kung ok sayo, check mo sa previous pages ang pics..
sa bracket ng roof rail magkakaiba,malapad ang rail ni SF,not sure kung meron available,pangit nung bracket ng generic rack sa casa...

sa Maspro meron mura,not sure lang kung kasya yung clamp ng rack
check mo rin sa carryboy

nag try din ako before ng THULE na roof rack.....
pero IMO di bagay eh...
kung necessity naman pwede rin meron..
basta pag wala ilo-load tanggalin na lang muna

LED 3watts na white(360degrees)yung gamit namin....not euroline

btw re headlights beam swapping-malabo daw i-adjust to opposite-di daw sasagad,konti lang ang magiging adjustments.

eto na lang options:
-remove tints and/or replace with lighter shades(light magic)

-change foglamps bulbs to HID
(not recommended-will melt plastic reflectors in the long run....hayaan nyo na lang kami....hehe)

-add aftermarket projector type foglamps like Bosch or other brands-fitted with halogen or HID lights

-dont drive at night...hehe

check mo sa favorite accs shops mo.....
tatanggalin lang ung orig then salpak lang ang LED
try mo rin sa Maspro kung may stock

i remember........there are 2 types of sockets for SF's front parklights..
dunno why

most SF are PnP,
yung sayo ay same with LadyRider- with conversion
