maybe not. mukhang wala naman occupant classification system mga airbags natin e. unlike sa US which has strict laws involving airbags specially child on front seats. kahit bata o matanda yung nakaupo sa harap magdedeploy parin siguro yung airbags natin.hehehe.

Law na ba or ordinance lang that young passengers are not allowed to sit at the front passenger side, only sa second row?

Depends on the country. There are ordnances requiring boosters for children under a certain height or weight. What I know is that children in rear-facing seats are not allowed in front.

The problem is airbags can kill smaller passengers if the force of deployment is too high. That's why the US is mandating multi-stage airbags or airbag disabling functions for all new cars.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Guess ko lang ito, which is based sa engineering standards

If there is a local engineering standard, yun ang susundin sa PH (ex. National Building Code at Phil Electrical Code). Kung wala, yung international code and/or best practices (ex. Fire Code at IEC)

Sa auto industry, meron na yatang mga laws (ex. Seat belt). Yung sa bawal ang kids sa front row, Im not sure kung law sya or ordinance. Pero for this specific case ng Santa Fe and Sonata recall, ang katumbas ng best practices siguro eh yung from the car manufacturer (si HMC) mismo

bukod sa US, kasama Canada sa mga affected (Hyundai recall affects thousands in Canada - Canada - CBC News)

sana mag-issue rin ng advisory ang HARI. ang China raw hindi affected (Hyundai's North American SUV recall does not apply to China)
