Anyone who owns one? Im planning to get this? Reliability? Fuel consumption? Parts? Thanks

my sister used to own one.
reliability : yes, she still has no major problems on the unit as of now. i think its a model 2002.
fuel consumption: yes, she averages daw around 15 kpl, mixed city-highway. daily route is makati-alabang.
parts: medyo mahirap daw humanap ng pyesa. but she gets it at goodgear.. minsan daw may mga parts na for ordering pa, minsan naman daw available on stock.

Reliable naman. We actually have 2 matrix currently 2008 at 2006?. Suggest ko diesel ang kunin mo. Malakas pa humataw kesa mga montero at fortuner na 2015s pababa. Labunion kami nakatira madalas magpabaguio From la union to baguio via marcos 60kms mga 4.2 litrr na gas nagamit namin punuan bawat fill to say na 4 pa ang sakay sa likod na hinataw. Matipid kasi maliit na kotse manual pa 1.5 lang maluwang pa sa likod. Pyesa sa goodgear mura pa na genuine. Same lang pyesa nito sa getz ewan ko lang sa tucson na kayear niya. 150k na natakbo namin so far hnd pa tumirik. I suggest test mo muna iba kasi ang gearing ng 2008 na facelift nasa upper rpm power niya kaya bitin kami sa marcos pag di ka humahataw

it's a hyundai. it's 15 years old. it did not sell in large numbers locally.
parts will probably be not easy to find, and if one did, it'd probably be not as cheap as, say, a sentra. see callaway's post above. #2. and it's over 3 years old.

On line sellers keep on telling me na it's easy to look for parts. How true is this po? Mabilis po ba makakakuha ng parts even abroad po kung wala locally? Saan po nakaka order?

I like the spacious interior considering it's a "mini MPV" of this Matrix. Good for everyday drive to work and family service. I'm still looking for this kind of feature that is within my budget range about 100K to 130k. Any suggestions po mga sir?

how many matrices do we see?
which auto parts store will stock up on parts for a car that's as common as hen's teeth? baka kalawangin na sa bodega, hindi pa nabebenta.
i've maintained an orphan car before. "it taxes one's patience and pocketboook."
i prefer a car whose parts are easy to find, and are reasonably priced.
heh heh.

if you are eyeing interior baggage space, there are many alternatives, which promise to be easier to maintain.
avanza.. the local AUVs revo adventure and hilander..
i had the diesel revo before. ang gaang ng manibela at pidal.
you will probably have to save up on it a bit more.

when cars sell for cheap, there's usually a reason.
gas guzzler.. orphan (walang piyesa).. may malaking sira.. very old.. nakaw!

an actual owner might volunteer his experience.

We believe we made the right choice of choosing the Jazz over the Matrix back in 2005....

Well, the Jazz was published to have CVT problems after a year... Anyway, we sell our rides every 5 years....😉

Now, 13 or 15 years hence,- parts availability may be an issue....😂😂

Hello guys! Matrix CRDi owner here. Wala naman po problema sa parts lalo na sa engine kasi same engine ng matrix CRDi ang accent CRDi d4fa. Ang mahirap mahanap is yung door handles at headlights. Pangilalim madami naman po nakukuhaan sa Banawe. Hanap lang talaga.

Anong parts po ba ang hanap nyo sir? Kasi yung matrix CRDi ko di naman ako nahirapan maghanap ng parts. Dahil siguro madalang lang masira.
