hindi naka-saad sa howner's manual?
let's see...
make sikwat it out, using a cloth-covered manikwat. the tire wrench the car came with, should suffice.
or, manually pull it off, if you have space for your hands/fingers.
older cars have two holes at the edge of the cover, where pulling prongs can be inserted and pulled...
google it, po.
or, as my officemate quipped,
"i-daan mo ang kotse sa lubak, then brake a little and watch where the cover goes as it rolls to overtake you.
heh heh.
mahirap talaga, that first time.
good luck, po.
Naka lugs ba ang wheel cover?
Otherwise, a generous amount of pull force is needed.
As what dr. d mentioned, make sikwat sikwat first.

Accent owner ako. Kailangan mo tanggalin yung lug nuts. Ibig ko sabihin, kailangan mo i-jack up yung auto mo kung tatanggalin mo yung lug nuts.
Di na kailagan i jack yan. Pwede ka naman magtanggal ng lug nut ng di naka jack. Ang tatanggalin lang naman ay cover, di naman gulong.
Unsafe practice plus you will damage the stud and rim-lugnut hole. The weight and torque should be distributed on the chamfer of the lug-nut an rim-hole.
Proper way is to lift the weight of the hub by jacking-up thereby removing the tension on the stud, undo the nut, remove the cover.
why do i have this feeling, that we are thinking of two different "wheel covers" ?
i tried googling, but i got nowhere.
i have always thought, we just pull it off.
note that some taxis have plastic pull ties to prevent their wheel covers from running away.

Iba ang accent sa mga wheel cover ng ibang sasakyan na patong lang na pwedeng lumipad. Sa accent nakakabit sya with the lugnuts
