Yung crv lang nakapeke ang low height level niya. I was not expecting around 200mm ground clearance. Ang baba kasi tignan foorline. Yung kona nadaan sa style nga kaya mukhabg SUV ala Tucson eh

Was hoping to find more feedback here regarding the Kona since the wife likes it very much, but it seems the owners aren't active here.
The agent we spoke with mentioned that they will be swapping out the current HUs with touchscreen units for their next batch.
Im seeing more kona everyday and the looks is growing on me.
But i feel hari will axe this in the next few years.
i10, grand i10, i20.
On another note, there is less new accent now. This might be on the chopping block since the reina is now their new darling.

Its a typical consumption of a 2.0L.
Civic will consume less cuz its a 1.8L and lighter.
1233kg civic vs 1390kg kona.
Almost similar hp and torque figures also.

That's bs man, modern cars have engine splash shields and a water tight sealing all-round. Water inside the engine would create a milkshake like mixture inside. I suspect that the car didn't have enough oil or he just got a lemon car. He should email or write a formal letter to Hyundai and insist that the car hasn't been exposed to severe "water splashing" other than a normal rain in the city.
some cars' fronts are designed to maximize air flow into the engine bay, so as to maximize engine cooling.
unfortunately, i believe, it also encourages water to go in.
also, heavy water spray from heavy rain or, more likely, water thrown up by nearby cars' tires as they cut thru minimally-flooded road surfaces,
find their way under the bonnet in the engine bay, and into an ill-positioned engine air intake that's sucking everything within reach..
in a 1600 displacement engine, as little as 50 ml of water sucked into a cylinder, can hydrolock that cylinder.
nice thought exercise, this.
Reminded me of the AMG C63 that died because it hit a puddle of water. haha
In SHOCK.. The Mercedes is MORE than broken.. AGAIN (I WISH this was clickbait) - YouTube
Looks like the air intake is right on the front grille of the kona.
