Last august 13,2015 pagkauwi ko galing ofis may napansin ako bigla na engine knocking, so naisip ko na due na rin ako 55k km run ko, my actual reading is 56k. Kinabukasan friday august 14 pina pms ko sa hyundai shaw and sinabi ko yung engine knocking nya. Sabi ng service advisor "cge sir mawawala yan after ma pms" so after ma pms nag ask ako kung may defect ba o sira ang sabi nman nya ok nman lahat. Sinabi nya lang yung mga next ma papalitan like break pads etc.. So kumpyansa nman ako at di ko na muna nilabas ang car bcoz coding rin ako on that day. Pag labas ko ng car napansin ko na andun pa rin! Sabi ko sa service advisor bkit ganyan pa rin tapos ang sabi nya sir mag aauto adjust nman ang valve nyan obeserbahan nlang natin pag hindi nawala balik mo. Den dumaan ang sat,sun,mon di pa rin nawala tapos nung wed pag pasok ko ng office along kamuning biglang may malakas na ingay sa engine ko so pinatay ko agad den napansin ng mga tao may tumagas ng langis ayun nag patulak na ako sa tabi. Tumatawag ako sa tow nila walang sumasagot so no choice ako pahatak sa taxi. Pag dating ko dun ayun kwento ng scenario and bottom line masyado na sila hugas kamay na hindi nman nila raw ppyagan ang sasakyan ilabas pag may problem! Bullshit! Nireklamo ko nga eh ang malik ko sna di k nlang nilabas ang kotse ko. Tapos dun na nila ako binalikan sa missed pms void na raw ang waranty!

well... having missed the pms's before, does tell negatively on owner..
3 years' pms done outside of the casa..? any symptoms within that time period?
... self adjust...? talaga??
honestly, i do not know... perhaps if i knew what really went wrong with the engine, what caused its catastrophic failure, then i might be able to decide whose fault it might be...


btw... how many times have i seen this particular story in several threads, this past several days? eon ba... accent ba..? totoo ba..?

My eon gl is one week old. may naririnig akong "tog" sound pag nag reverse gear. Normal po ba yan mga ka tsikot?

Wala ba talagang automatic na eon? How hard is it to adapt to Manual transmission? I'm bias kay A/T because everyone says it's easier. But I don't drive, so whichever transmission it is, it would be a learning experience.

Any first time drivers who bought the eon and had an easy time getting the hang of it? No regrets over not getting A/T?
