good day to all, wanna ask if yung hb a/t is really that powerful? i mean in terms of the said torque. no problem for us even it's 4 speed, not a lot of straights here in iloilo so 4 speed is fine, and may + - configuration yung a/t ng hb mga boss? planning on gettng one next week, ocean blue color plan namin, will use the car for around 30kms per day , balikan 60kms, need to travel atleast 3 times a week, so it would be around 180kms total or more depends kung may pupuntahan pang iba, come to think of it diesel rules in effeiciency, save for those hybrids with towering prices ofcourse. thx for the inputs

Oh yes, for a sub-compact car it is powerful and "quick". Turbo starts to boost from as low as 1900RPM.

Without any intention of putting down other brands, the HB can easily outrun most, if not all, of those sporty-looking petrol powered cars....and at times, even those w slightly bigger engine displacement.
Our Civic FD 1.8S may be as stable as a rock, but I can't say that it can surely outrun the Accent HB.

Fuel cost-savings compared to our Civic is around 50%.

Already clocked 7000kms++ w our a/t HB and very satisfied with it.

thx sa info mga sir, dito kasi sa iloilo dami na naka reserve, isa lang naman casa ng hyundai dito so mahaba pila hehehe, ginawa namin nag ipon pa kami para atleast pag nakuha sana ay cash na. but up to now d pa pwede cash kasi may ibang expenses rin na kelangan ng pera, so far we could only go for 50% dp and 2 years installment. will post pics pag anjan na yung unit. thx all

Btw, many may claim that the suspension of the HB is more on the soft side. I would tend to agree with this but if it were to be used as a daily ride, on normal RP roads, then I guess it is a reasonable compromise for a pretty comfy ride, especially for a sub-compact.
Other cars may have stiffer springs/shocks as the FD, but the ride may also prove to be a bit "uncomfortable and harsh" on some of our not-so-perfect roads. However, if a stiffer, more sporty ride is preferred, I believe there are after market replacements for shocks/springs available for the HB.
Just the same, this is just my own opinion.

(Btw, I sometimes go to Iloilo to visit some friends who are also into German Shepherd Dogs)

sir thank you sa information about sa rear shocks ng hb, yup i've read it a couple of times, maybe its tuned that way para sa korean roads? anyway d naman deal breaker para sa amin kahit malambot, priority namin yung power+efficiency, sabi nga sa magazine ng topgearph what could be more fun than using less fuel? hehe, and yung mga kalsada dito sir okay na, halos na repair na siya lahat, atleast yung dinadaanan namin, i dont know lang sa ibang parts.

Hi a/t owner here 3x ko na sya nagamit sa slex dito going to manila then province. talagang may power sya at natry ko na 5 kami nakasakay all adults hindi sya naman nahihirapan ang makina. its very good. my opinion naman sa rear shocks for some reason hindi naman malambot yung sa aken (as far as i can tell, since nakaride na nga yung 3 sa back hindi naman sya nag bobottom out katulad ng nasabi ng iba dito? ewan ko lang if yung rear shocks ng mga bagong dumating ay napalitan na. hope this helps.

*Coolgrease thanks for the input sir, anyway para sa amin not that bad naman or not a deal breaker kahit nga malambot shocks, pwede naman palitan next time ng stiffer shocks sa rear, besides kalimitan na sakay ng hb pag nakuha is 3 lang. yung efficiency and power talaga hanap namin and wala ata kaparehas and accent hb in this price range.

nagpunta ako dealership kanina para ma try sa actual unit...
    same lang nung dati....

    front mounting is ok....

back mounting still needs to adapt to PHDM screw mounting holes. since they'r made of rubber/plastic its easy to do that....
