IMHO ok lang po. e-vgt naman ang turbo charger ng accent (though I'm not sure about this), pag electronic / ecu controlled ang variable nozzle ng turbo charger then e-vgt yan (my own opinion lang po).

thanks boss weisshorn. it's a US tucson and sta. fe emblem pala originally. good puede ko ikabit bellow the accent emblem

    from Hyundai.com

The all-new R eVGT (short for Electronic Variable Geometry Turbocharger) dramatically improves power output while allowing it to be more environment-friendly as it is more fuel efficient and releases less harmful emissions.

The eVGT is an innovative engine technology that electronically monitors exhaust gases to help precisely control the turbine vanes and minimize turbo lag, fuel consumption and boost-threshold.

Despite being diesel-powered, the R eVGT has been designed to run quietly thanks to the third-generation common rail system developed by Bosch. It also has an internal steel silent timing chain that drives the dual overhead camshaft, making the engine run more efficiently while at the same time making it more durable and easier to maintain.

Question lang. at what rev ba most efficient ang accent? 1800? at 150kph nasa 3k na rev.

sa mga test for fuel economy usually 80KPH ang average speed regardless of engine rpm. Subukan nyo po sa ganyang speed and post po dito ang fuel consumption para sa kaalaman ng lahat. Thanks

yung sa pinsan ko (6m/t) nung pumunta kami pa-norte 120-130kph * 1950-2050rpm at * 6th gear. so maybe 150kph sa m/t would be around 2400-2600rpm

    100kph * 1800rpm
    150kph * 3000rpm

Iisa lang naman may ari nyan but not sure kung different policy.

Hi! Up ko lng po uli!

I was given a quote for the A/T variant of Accent crdi hatch. I asked an ALL-IN package and agreed to pay in 60 months.

    Here are the numbers:

    20% DP = 173,600
    Monthly Amortization = 17,460.00

Just wanted to ask your opinions with regards to how reasonable the price is and if I can still do something about it like makipagtawaran sa SA? I can't apply for a bank loan because I do not have an ITR ( tried applying and filing at BIR but they can't categorize where I should fit in - work is freelancing and is being outsourced outside the country).

    17,460 x 60 = 1,047,600 + 173,600 = 1,221,200 over 5 years for an 868,000 peso car. Sounds like a really bad deal.

I got my Livina (AT trim, 908k SRP) last year for 108,000 down and 17,690 monthly for 5 years. And I thought it was already a bad deal.

you must also consider the cost of money... the bank will only realize that 400k mark up after 5 years..

Yeah but if you went the bank financing route, the bank would already be happy to get 14.7k monthly (27% add-on rate over 5 years. Actual quote I got from BDO). So yeah, 17,460 monthly is an effin BAD DEAL.

Okay so I'm done with the 1k PMS sa hyundai marcos highway.

I was made to choose between mineral, semi and fully synthetic. Sabi ko semi, pero after a while tinawag ulit ako nung SA (name's Jay) and informed me na naubusan sila ng semi hay. Pinili ko nalang muna mineral ulit. They used HGMO, which Jay admitted was just Shell helix. 15w-40 yung nilagay (sana nga). They had a wide lounge where you can see your car being serviced, pero nakatalikod sayo and di mo kita. And yes, pwede magdala ng oil/parts with corkage fee.

Bago isalang, I asked baket kailangan na 6 liters yung nakalagay sa price list nila na 1k pms. Sabi ko hinde naman 6 liters capacity ng accent, to which he replied, sir mga 5+ po siguro. Mmmkay. Yung natirang 1 liter oil binigay sakin, unopened. Sa madaling salita, 5 liters lang talaga.

May engine treatment and engine flushing liquid na nakalagay dun sa price list for 1k pms, pero sabi ko ayaw ko ng mga yun. Happy naman ako at tinanggal nya, nakasave ako ng almost 700 (350+ each kasi). Was also offering me engine wash (forgot how much) to which I also declined.

I observed the performance when I was driving home and wala naman akong naging problems. Bumaba pa nga ata yung fc ko naging 14km/l (7.1l/100km), coming from marcos highway to pasig, or baka placebo effect lang hehe.

All in all, medyo mixed feelings di ko pa alam kung babalik ako or hanap ng ibang casa for 5k pms.
