Based on my experience naman, I have a tucson 2007 before at recently acquired ko ung 2012 na tucson ix, pinapalitan ko na agad ng horn, interior lights at nagpa HID nako agad nun. I have a trusted and tested shop who does that kaya siguro I'm confident. So far naman, hindi ko pa nadala sa casa because of electrical problems. Sayang lang din kasi ung magwait ka ng 5 years or so para matapos ung warranty e at average, para magpalit into a new unit is after 6 years or more. so kaya kung dun ka palang magpapalit e hindi mo maeenjoy. haha.

So for me, it depends siguro sa technician mo at kung maalaga ka talaga sa kotse, I guess okay lang mavoid ung warranty. Besides that, ung mga pinapalagay ko lang naman is for added safety and beneficial sakin. Hindi ung mga for extra looks and porma lang haha. ehem (ung mga nagpapa underglow na pampapansin lang nagmukha ng christmas lights) hahaha! jk!

Anyway, para sakin I almost always do long trips kaya I need that turbo timer kasi mainipin ako na kailangan ko na agad bumaba ng car. haha!
So far, I'm planning to change the horn and lights (retrofit ng projector) again tas magpapalagay ako ng no-drill na reverse sensor tas add that turbo timer.

I'll just share the trustworthy car shop na pinapagawan ko. Cartronics sa may del monte, qc tas look for Mark, ever since dun na kami nagpapagawa sa kanya and ung dad ko.
Part by part lang bro.

had my miniscule horn replaced sa casa with a bosch f2 compact for P1800. bosch benz horn sana but sobra laki and pangit tingnan behind the grilles

kaya pala mahina yung factory horn kasi 1 pc lang siya and it's bawal to honk your horn loudly in korea unlike dito sa atin palakasan ng horn para mapansin especially ng mga nakaharang na jeeps and buses.

As far as I know, na kapag nagpalit ka anything from the electricals including lights, horn, others.., buong warranty mo sa electrical mavvoid na. correct me if I'm wrong mga sir.

Sa casa kasi ang mahal mag charge kapag dun ka mismo nagpapalit. pero let's face it, kung gusto niyo mga sir na mapanatag ung feeling niyo, go for casa nalang and don't void the warranty. Kaya lang naman kasi for me mas okay magpagawa sa labas sa trusted mong shop is that of practicality and alam din naman natin na ung ginagawa sa labas and casa is no difference at all, like changing the horn, madali nga lang un e. kung meron lang akong resources to do that I can DIY it. hahaha!

When in terms of change oil and other major fix including the engine, suspension, etc. best advised parin ang pagpapagawa sa casa
and nga pala, nagdadala rin kami ng dad ko ng cans ng oil para sa change oil kasi mas okay I think?

it's really practical sa labas magpagawa kasi mas mura pero the reason why sa casa magpagawa is so that they can take note of it and hindi ma void ang warranty

Eto lang ha, ive been loyal to casa regarding PMs with my SF, pero last two PMs ko sa labas na at ramdam ko ang power ng crdi engine ko, coz probably talagang nakita ko mismo nag-change oil sa harap ko

Sa casa, even if you bring your own oil, how sure are you na nilagay nila, for all you know nilipat lang nila ng ibang lalagyan yan oil mo, at binalik sayo container. Im not pointing out the casa, ang tingin ko mga mechanics eh gumagawa ng pera. Kung tuusin a change oil can survive as long 20Tkm for synthetic and 10Tkm for regular diesel, yan naman talaga ang ideal sa Europe. And this has been confirmed to me by former Casa employees.

^european diesel have much better quality than our local diesel & the big difference in quality is the main reason why engine oil get slurry (soot which is the byproduct of the process of combustion of diesel fuel gets mixed up with the engine oil) in time.

too much accumulation of soot in the oil will eventually degrade the efficacy of the oil to lubricate the innards of your engine, that is why european standard is cut in half in the local scenario

The master of all masters has spoken.

Not all casas does that to your own oil. Nakikita ko every PMS ng Sonata ng dad ko sa Hyundai Quezon Avenue that they really use the oil (Motul H-Tech Plus 5W30) that I bring during PMS. Same thing with Diamond Greenhills with my Montero Sport and Strada, they really use the Motul Specific CRDi that I bring during PMS. And you'll notice agad if they did not use your own oil through reduced engine performance and higher fuel consumption.

Sus change oil and filters take 20-30 minutes.

Saka daming miscellaneous ng casa, brake cleaner, drain plug washers, injector spray at kung anu-ano pa. 1 can brake cleaner na tig P200 sa ace hardware, you can spray 3 cars already or 4 tires each = 12 tires.

Sa Hyundai North EDSA you can be assured na they are doing the oil change and everything that needs to be done. Allowed ka pumunta sa tabi ng car mo while they are doing it, even chat with the service technician there.

All PMS after 5K full synthetic oil na.. But that is me, di ko po pinipilit na gayahin ako ng sino man.
