Hello! Was informed by my SA units to be delivered end of month are all a/t. My first choice is a m/t, though I'm kinda leaning now towards getting an a/t to avoid again the long waiting. May I ask for your inputs re:
    1. RPM at 4th gear running on 80kph, 100kph and 120kph.
    2. Actual fuel mileage mostly EDSA traffic using manual computation and highway at 100-120kph.
    3. Does the eco mode function? Was told by my SA that a/t is auto eco.
Your inputs are highly appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi Accent Hatch CRDI owners,

I'm planning to buy my first car and I'm heavily considering Hyundai Accent Hatch A/T. Other cars on my list are the new Vios and Honda City. Can you give me pros/cons in owning the Accent Hatch A/T? What advantages / disadvantages do you see compared to Toyota Vios and Honda City?

    Thanks!

have asked this question before, I think the answer I got was : 1,800RPM at 4th gear on the hiway doing 100km/hr. so that's gear same as the Carens CRDi 6M/T & 6A/T of Sorento CRDi....

Hi! I just dropped by Hyundai Baliwag this afternoon and saw 4 units of Accent HB. 3 A/T (2 red, 1 silver) an 1 M/T in ocean blue color. I noticed they changed HU for the A/T to 1-DIN OEM Stereo unit with Hyundai name on it which looks cleaner and sleeker than the JVC HU. Wonder if it sounds better or it's the same JVC rebadge as OEM Hyundai.

Thanks for the reply bro! So almost same as the MT I read from previous post the MT is doing 120KPH barely hitting 2,000RPM. I think Sir Niky mentioned in one of his online published reviews that the MT 6 speed is not that advantageous by a wide margin over the AT. If only there's a data available re: gear ratios of both variants...

Not bad for a sub compact car.
Our Honda FD hits100kmh *1800rpm and that is w/ a 1.8 engine displacement.

must be the matic, drove my friends FD with 5M/T several times...
I think the engine revs were about 2600 at 100KPH.

i just read the thread na mya issue with hyundai ne and hari. i guess it's an isolated incident. medyo wary talaga ako sa branch na yun. when i was scouting around that branch promised me next day delivery and kukunin by car truck yung unit from cabanatuan which is their main branch. yeah riite by car truck which wala naman sila.only honda and toyota has them

with regards naman to hari and the pms. yes it's probably a racket to have those pms pero you have the option to bring sa casa you like which do not follow the 3 month scheduling ( meron talaga dealer na masuba ) and based lang on the kilometrahe. so far subok na namin hyundai in the family since the 1st generation starex and ok naman. ako mismo honda fanboy and still have 2 other honda cars eh ganun din naman ang pms scheduling, kahit anong brand pa yan meron talaga pms. maganda meron pms para ma maintain ng maganda yung kotse.

either mga kalaban lang na nainira yung ibang sumasagot dun siempre wala naman sila hyundai kaya ang dali sabihin mga paninira. ;)

I guess and hopefully yes kasi I'm poised to get na my AT tom... 1.5 months in the making...

So the AT hatch is built for cruising with excellent overtaking capabilities within city speed limits without sacrificing smooth driving experience and economy. The MT on the other hand is for built for optimum top speed driving. Does anyone know the speed wherein the AT & MT has the same RPM? I pressume going beyond that speed for the AT would diminish economy figures significantly due to lack of 5th & 6th gears.

Kahit naman ata mataas cruising RPM ng MT sa highway mas matipid pa rin eh.
