Per the manual under severe usage, it should be replaced every 80k kms.

Hello question po. Needed pa ba ang turbo timer for Accent Diesel? Sabi kasi ung mga oils nowadays is enough para di na i-cooldown ung makina after driving long distance.

I just turn-off the engine after 30 seconds of cool-down idling; but only after a long drive.

I am buying a Hyundai Accent HB 1.6 this week and I just have a few questions na kayo lang po malamang makakasagot. FYI, this is the first brand new car na bibilin ko kaya wala ako idea kaya po ako nagtatanong so please, bear with me.

1. What's the difference between Hyundai Accent HB 2017 and 2016? Sabi po kasi nung agent na pinagbilan ko, 2017 sya pero ung nasa catalog ng Hyundai, 2016 ang nakalagay so nalilito po ako. Ano po ung mga bagay na dapat ko tingnan to confirm kung anong model sya?

2. I was advised na kelangan ako kumuha ng insurance sa Hyundai mismo dahil nga daw nakapromo ung downpayment. Totoo po ba na obligado ako kumuha sa kanila? If true, ang options ko lang is Standard, FPG at People's. Alin po dito ang maganda?

3. Nagtanong ako sa kanila ng mga upgrades at in my opinion lang naman e overpriced talaga sya. If I were to upgrade ung stock na stereo to 2 din console and then add a backing camera, would it void the warranty?

2. if buying cash, you don't need to insure the car at all, except for the requisite TPL insurance. otherwise, it's the "golden rule". they have the gold, they make the rules.
3. yes, you probably lose the electrical warranty. but then again, why would you need it, if nothing goes wrong with the installation? but if something does go wrong with the installation, it would not be fair to ask them to pay for someone's fault, now would it?

Patulong po sa mga experts. first time kung sakali na magkaron ng crdi na sasakyan. Plano po namin bumili ng accent HB crdi A/T. pang coding car.
1. so far na consider namin models ay 2013, 2014 or 2015. alin po ang mas maganda sa 3? me nababasa kasi ako na mas maganda pa yun 2013 model. naka 16-in mags pa yun and adjustable yun steering column. anu ano po ba pagkakaiba nun 3 models?

2. kung iiwan sa parking lot yun sasakyan for 4 days ano po ba yun mga dapat gawin.

sir jay2 30k pms for accent CRDi change oil lang and at most air filter ng engine. Fuel filter, coolant, cabin air filter should be changed every 20k kms. Yung gear oil and brake fluid, every 40k. Wala pong rear axle ang crdi since front drive lang siya. Hope this helps!

yung 2016 DCT variant maraming safety features naka ABS/EBD/Traction Control/Hill Start Assist

Unit - 7 speed DCT 2016 (pero 2015 ko nakuha)
Odo - 62,000 Kms ( Madalas mag road trip )
Oil - Caltex DELO 400 MGX (Meron sa Lazada )
Filters - OEM filters (from Seiring or Wes Lee Korean parts seller from Laguna)
Gear oil - Shell Spirax GL4 90 ( palit every 30,000 Kms )

Issues encountered:
Battery (Rocket Brand) - Bumigay after 1 year ( Warranty claimed na re imburse ko yung pinambili ko ng Amaron )
Projector Headlight - Always high beam ( Warranty claimed din )

Common practice:
-Change to Neutral kapag trafik
-Idle 2-3 mins galing byahe before patayin ang engine
-Idle at least 30 secs to 1min bago patakbuhin
-Change oil every 5,000 kms
-Less 2,200rpm lang ang rev ko ( 1,800 rpm lang * 100Kph)

yes sir gear oil for dct. after 20,000 kms sa labas na ako nagpa pms. usually sa shell,petron or motech.

not yet egr cleaned/ blanked sir but im planning this december sa Zix medyo malayo ako Batangas area pa, as per feedback from other owners mas naging responsive ang turbo.
