That's a shame. Perhaps thinner seatbacks would have made a difference. And then again, the SG is available in other countries with a 6 seater variant. Maybe that would be more to their liking.

Just an update on this one. So I have been to the shop and apparently the stab links replaced late 2017 have failed again. Also replaced the arm bushings and ball joints. All in all 8800 for everything.

Bruh, just curious... pangit ba daan sa inyo kasi yearly palitan ng pang underchassis?

You might consider the ppv if that’s the case... [emoji4]

QC-Val via Edsa daily. Hindi naman kalala. Few rough patches on Edsa and a few more on MacArthur, yes. Could partly be attributed to the age of the car (12 years/95tkms). Do hope I won't be replacing anything else underneath anytime soon.

basta ako baka benta ko na old & loved Santa fe when I get a new PPV next year

Not because I hate Hyundai, I really loved Hyundai diesel crossovers, pero I have to limit the brands na hawak ko, dami ko na iniintindi

So next year, i will have 2 PPVs. , and 1 Pickup hihi

Family Picture ko sila tatlo , lagay ko pickup Gitna.

Then later on maybe 8 years from now, I sell the pickup I get an LC.

Kasi past 45 yrs old na ako nun, iba na dapat laro ko sa buhay, hinde na dapat fit boy next door. Dapat may show of power.

Minsan nga na imagine ko sakay ako LC, tapos yun 2 ko PPV sakay mga bodyguards ko. Pareho kasi color ng 2 ppv ko eh

Monty syempre, kasi slim looking for fit people like me, of which the passenger is mostly me most of the time

Ive always considered the fort and terra oddly shaped for an SUv stance. Flat na tinaas. It doest represent My persona.

Look at Prado, Prado is timeless suv design coz it’s slim looking.

    di naman kasi kelangan basahen

HarI requires every 6 mos. say for a Tucson diesel at average of 7-8K per PMS

    so 8K x 2 (times a year ) x 5 (years) = P80,000

so baka naman tinanggal nila yun discount ng 100K per unit lol

    tumubo pa sila hahaha

I used to own a Gen 2 4x2 Santa Fe.

Mahina talaga pang ilalim at makalampag pa. Hindi pang bigatan at panglubak.
It was my daily driver and my only car for 9 yrs until I sold it 3 yrs ago. It racked up 130,000kms.

Now I drive a MuX. Matigas manibela and suspension compared to SF pero it is very reliable and wala gaano toyo.

Apples to bananas naman kasi. The sf is a crossover, the muX is a ppv based suv. The muX has a proper ladder frame chassis.

Based on my experience, Mahina talaga Hyundai and Kia, Meron kaming 2 Starex dati sa opisina, madaling mabali mga door knobs atsaka madali masira pang-ilalim. Ang daming nasisira pang-ilalim, compared to the same year and model na Grandia namin, walang masyadong problema, pag may bumigay na piesa, pagpalit mo hinde mo na kailangan palitan ulit.

Same with Kia, I only bought a Kia 4x4 (K2700) because I needed a 4x4. After 25,000kms mausok na and kailangan ng injection pump calibration. Tapos noong less than 1,000 kms palang iyong Kia bumigay ang aircon, hintay daw kami ng 3-6 months habang hinihintay piesa darating from Korea. Juice Colored, Pinarepair ko sa labas, kasi di ako makapghintay, O-ring lang ang problema. P200 part. Mahal pa ang Freon charging na P2,500.

They are just a notch higher than China made cars. Marami pa silang kailangan iimprove. Tapos ang mga Kia dealers, terrible and service. I vowed to myself never to buy a Kia or Hyundai as long as merong equivalent Japanese cars. Nadadala ang tao sa mga sasakyan nila, that is why they are now paying the price.
