I was stuck in traffic one night and beside me was a Hyundai Tucson wearing smaller tires than standard and had plastic wheel covers instead of alloy wheels. The wheel covers did make a good facsimile of alloy wheels.

Also noticed that the vehicle had no front foglamps.

Is this vehicle officially on sale by the local dealer? Any idea what other equipment were not included and what's the price range? Thanks!

    Weird niyan.

Although the base MT and AT variants of the Tuc don't have foglamps, may alloy wheels naman ang both AFAIK.

Baka binenta niya yung wheels pang gas? Lakas ng Tucson sa gas e.

    That's weird.

The GL Tucson comes with alloy wheels. And IMO, it's pretty stupid to sell your wheels to have gas money. :rofl01: But who knows...

Uls is right, may lumabas na very bare Tucson sa ibang bansa. However, I don't think it was released locally.

    2 things:

    1. He wanted to have the bare looks
    2. It's an import

The steelies were OEM Hyundai wheels and wheelcovers. The unit was brand new.

It's probably a third party import if the dealer didn't release such model.

As reference, doc. Here's the basic Tucson model that I was talking about.

No foglamps. Steelies with OEM Hyundai caps.

Could be the base X20 in Korea, or the GL trim in USA.

'Basic' model Hyundai Tucson [2nd gen].
