Yung veloster, magiging Hyundai i30 iyan. Flop.
Yung Hyundai Eon, depends sa pricing.
Yung Hyundai Santa Fe naman, kung reasonable ang taas sa price at ok ang looks ( since based daw sa Sonata, ewan ko pano itsura neto ) papatok nanaman 'to for sure.
Hyundai is banking of K-AFTA. Which will mean a drop in their tarriffs to near AFTA levels.
In other words, they'll be able to wipe the floor with Suzuki on the Eon's price... and the Santa Fe will be even more price-competitive than before (pity the competition). Chevrolet and Kia will be able to use AFTA for the Captiva and Sorento, but considering Hyundai already underprices them, I don't think the status quo will change there.
The Veloster... hard to say. Likely, they'll only bring in a few units... but with K-AFTA, they might be able to price it Mitsubishi GSR low. If so... goodbye gray market!
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
La pa ba dyan leaked photos ng all new SF? Very interesting indeed. Yung veloster din.![]()
Fasten your seatbelt! Or else...Driven To Thrill!
No details yet. Sabi ng contact ko, for sure may mangyayari ng first quarter, but I don't know if that's the official launch of all three or just one... maybe the Eon.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
Sus mag launch pa ng new models. Eh yung current models ngayon hindi na nga maasikaso mag stock ng spare parts
Yung sinabing price cutoff, medyo masakit
Depreciation value na yun ng mga Hyundai namin![]()
Maglalabas ng mga bagong modelo, baka meron ding knocking issue katulad ng sa Accent. Toinkz
Ang key word dito "warranty". Pag out of warranty ka na magically available na yung part. Ako 7 months and counting na kaka wait ng parts na pina "warranty" ko. Unless HARI shapes up, mawawalan sila ng customers kahit magaganda pa products nila. Currently, their after sales service really sucks bigtime.
And I wonder bakit kaya ang HARI walang dealership na company owned
Yung Kia meron, Kia Pasay. Ang bilis ng parts at kumpleto ang facility.
^ Guilty much about the "third world" issue between Tidus and Thailand made SUV owners?

*UPDATE*
HARI has just advised us that while the all-new Santa Fe's sure to arrive next year, the Eon and Velsoter is still under review with a final statement due first quarter of 2012.
Just before the New Year sets in, Hyundai Asia Resources Inc. (HARI), the official distributor of Hyundai in the Philippines, has got some big news brewing up for 2012. Expanding its current vehicle line-up, they're bringing in three new models next year - the Eon, the long-awaited Veloster, and the all-new Santa Fe. On top of that, expect prices on new Hyundai's to drop after the ASEAN-Korea Free Trade Agreement (AKFTA) comes into play, which should reduce import tariff rates to 20%.
Winds of Change
The Eon is Hyundai's entry-level micro car positioned just below the i10. It's powered by an 814cc gasoline engine that allows it to achieve a remarkable 21.1 km/L fuel economy. This little five-door hatchback and claims to have greater interior room than a Suzuki Alto, hold more luggage space than a Chevrolet Spark, and come equipped with front power windows, a driver's side airbag, and a savvy two-tone interior. Infused with Hyundai's signature fluidic design philosophy, the Eon is sure to turn heads on the streets.
