the price given by pitstop motors is shocking for the calligraphy model... 4.5m but still negotiable!
wifey said, it's too much. antay na lang sa mga dealership. kung nasa 3.2m max lang sya baka may pag asa ito bebenta.

Honest question: is this iteration of the Santa Fe THAT good that it can potentially disrupt sales of the PPV SUV's (Everest, Fortuner, Montero Sport, Mu-X, Terra)?
2.5 Gas engine is an interesting choice
I guess it competes with the CX-60 and CRV, but those can be had as hybrids
No.
Reason: Gas Engine
Pinoys still love their Diesel engined SUV/PPV.
if they had a diesel engined model maybe.
Plus the rear is Literally Butt Ugly.
look what happened to the current Montero sport when it first came out.
it wasnt until they were giving big discounts and updated the rear that sales would pick up thou still not enough to compete head to head with the fortuner.
every time I see a high end Korean car sa kalsada, naiisip ko na Korean expat yung may ari.
the rear does look terrible
I checked the brochure and the base model is already good enough in terms of specs. Youre mainly losing the turbo engine and relaxation seats in the 4x4 gls trim.
If this Santa Fe isn't as good as they're touting it to be, then they should price it accordingly. The TOTL is creeping into Lexus NX territory almost, while the base is on the level of the TOTL PPVs.
I just saw the New Santa Fe in the flesh.
It was surprisingly smaller than expected.
like a bigger CRV, thou i expected it to be around the fortuners(PPV) size. or maybe because it seem to sit lower than expected?
Rear still looks really ugly even with the smaller dimension.
