Confirmed: The Hyundai Creta N Line will make its PH debut later this month | TopGear PH

If you’re expecting this spec to get turbo power, it might be better to contain your excitement for now. The Creta N Line launched in Thailand only comes with the 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine that puts out 113hp and 144Nm of torque, mated to Hyundai’s excellent Intelligent Variable Transmission, the company’s proprietary CVT.

Pricing as per the above link:

    Creta 1.5 GL IVT – P1,134,000
    Creta 1.5 GLS IVT – P1,254,000
    Creta 1.5 Premium IVT – P1,333,000
    Creta 1.5T N Line 7DCT – P1,379,000

I actually don't see the point in getting the Premium IVT variant just because the Turbo N-Line is just around the corner for under 50k extra.

    Non turbo engine: 113hp | 144Nm | IVT
    N-Line: 158hp | 253 Nm | 7DCT + traction control

    just recently,
a colleague was left literally high and dry in the skyway. tinirik siya ng F niya.
nung kinuwento ng isa pang colleague na "ganyan rin nangyari sakin"...
"why didn't you tell me, when i was buying also?"
    "i thought you knew..."
    hondista na sila ngayon.

Medyo doubtful parin pero malay niyo. Baka nag-improve na pala.

Powershift DCTs yung nagkaproblema. They used dry clutches. Current DCTs use wet clutches. Most Chinese cars (including the Ford Territory) use wet DCTs. Can't say anything about durability yet because my Territory is only 1 year and 5,000 kms old.

I'd get this Creta turbo in a heartbeat. Sayang lang we already got the XForce last year. This is around the same size as the XForce but with the power of the Territory. Papa-upgrade ko na lang ang speakers
