mahal masyado ang pricing nila sa i10 kung nasa 500k to 600k bracket malamang maganda ang sales nila pero kung ganyan kataas eh pupulutin sila sa kangkungan

panalo na naman ang toyota nito

The hell! Magiging flop yan kung 768K talaga ang price. Ang Vios 1.3E AT that seats 5 about, if not more comfortable, with a bigger 1.3L engine and has a full size trunk costs just 767K mas mura pa ng 1K.

Bad move yan. Wag ganyan HARI.

Still, there are variants at the 518k mark... so it's not all bad. Recall, the Spark and Picanto start in that area, already, for their base models, which are also bare and smaller inside.

Don't expect these Korean cars to come anywhere near to the price of ASEAN made superminis like the Mirage or ASEAN-market only cars like the Wigo.

Ang Toyota Yaris 1.5 AT 771K lang if regular SRP na, aabutan pa yan ng Yaris dahil sa discount. Mahal.

guys, sharing our experience with the Grand i10 1.0 L A/T

consumption
city - 10kpl (EDSA traffic) QC-Makati vv
nlex - 13kpl at 80-90 kph
manual computation

what we like - spacious interior and feels very premium along with all the accessories, engine performance for a 1.0 is very sufficient especially when not using the eco button, it doesn't feel like a 1.0 rather it feels like a 1.3 engine, very good handling, eco function for a 1.0 A/T car is helpful

what needs improvement - for us the car is not well lit inside because the lights are only infront and at the compartment, passengers at the back find it hard to see their things; spare tire isnt alloy wheels but steel rims

overall it's a sufficient car, a great first car since my wife uses it.

Any other owner reviews out there? I really like this car but the prices are just too steep. If only that 1.2 TOTL model is 680k!! Wishing!!

Top Gear PH has a review on it. It's the 1.2 engine though. Anyway, I came back for PMS in the casa and they said the 1.0 sells better than the 1.2; I think now is the time to buy one in case you really want it... Part of it is because of my experience on the Hyundai Accent 5DR.. At first they were selling the value for money variants with more color selections BUT now it just comes into two variants and only 4 colors.. Maybe that will happen to the Grand i10, the variants/models will be down to just maybe 3 with limited colors.. HARI just might be studying the market for the Grand i10 before trimming it down to a few variants.. (just like the Accent and Tucson variants from before)

P.S. I really wanted that Ocean Blue A/T Accent Hatch from way back.. Oh well, regrets..

Delightful car. Probably the first Hyundai I've driven with really good steering. Really wish HARI would carry a test unit of the 1.0 variant. I'm particularly interested in the base 1.0 MT, for personal use... if it's not too terribly bare, I'd consider it over the Mirage.

Well, it's difficult with the taxes and importation, but hopefully closer to 650k, 680 if they can't make it.

I'd personally work on cutting the price by deleting some accessories... good bye touchscreen and etcetera... then offer those back via a dealership upgrade package. Eventually, the customer will still pay that 700+ k, but it won't reflect on the price lists.
