2011 Hyundai Elantra [MERGED]

Hi Guys,

I'm also interested to your opinion on GTS925 query on "worth it ba yung 70,000 difference ng 1.6A/T sa 1.8A/T?". Sayang kasi Php 70,000 and you get already a better engine, fog lamps, back-up sensor, intergrated head unit, larger mags and disc brakes at the back. However, my concerns is that the interior color is gray and not black as in the 1.6 gl. In addition, there is a slight drop in fuel economy. Is the drop on fuel economy significant? especially in the highway? I will be travelling back and forth from Manila and Pampanga. And i really need a good economical ride.

By the way, i have couple treads saying their is problem with elantra's paint? They say for red that there is chemical attack/damager while for the other color, have very thin paint that when fit by stone chips, they already reveal the metal and cause rust. Is this true? any elantra owner experiencing this?

IMO, for highway probably same or minimal difference in FC ng 1.8 and 1.6 since the 1.6 will be working harder than the 1.8 * highway speeds. for city, 1.6 will be more efficient.

i think depende sa advisor nyo ito. i got my elantra at hyundai pasig and my LTO is free. una rin nila sinabi na di free pero nung sinabi ko sa ibang dealer free ang LTO ganun na rin ginawa sa akin. hanapin niyo si leslie trinidad ng pasig, pwede nyo ma free LTO

Bumili kasi sa Pasig ng Grand Starex last year, up to now wala parin. Lemon yung unit, namamatay lagi, naka-ilang balik na sa Casa, ganun parin. So we demanded for a refund or change unit, nag file sila ng counter case, sinasabi nila kaya daw ganun kasi pinalitan yung horn. Sila naman nag kabit nun

Baliw amp*ta. Horns daw :hysterical:

Minsan talaga sala sa init, sala sa lamig ang Pasig. Pag sikat ka doon may special treatment ka. Pero kapag normal na client ka lang, babastusin at lolokohin ka nila.

Grabeh naman...

Ang cliente pa ngayon ang inaalipusta. Kaya often times kahit mahal papainstall, pinipilit pa rin ng iba na pumunta sa CASA kahit simpleng horn lang, para naman to have that peace of mind na alam talaga ng nagkabit yong buong systema ng sasakyan...

Eh loko pala yang dealer na yan. Yong horn system, it has it's own circuit, not even connected to BCM (Body Control Management) or ECM (Engine Control Management).

Kaya, ako I rest my case on that warranty thing. Kaya lahat ng projects ko, D-I-Y na. kung tutuusin, yong warranty natin, eh halos lahat hindi pwede ikabit.
