Elantra's 1.8L "Nu" engine also uses maintenance free timing chain instead of a timing belt. Not sure if its good or bad.

I don't think all these are worth the price difference of 250K from the base GLS. Some of the items are even normally offered as freebies.

All of these things probably cost 100k at most. Tagang taga na nga e. Where does the extra 150k go? haha

Then it still doesn't add up to 250k hehe.

Parang ang laki lang kasi ng patong eh. You can get 2.0L cars at that price na. The Lancer GT-A comes to mind...

I think you get can a much much much better/high end sound system with 55k (hindi lang head unit, pero speakers and whatnot pa), and too much chrome minsan nasisira na yung dating ng kotse.

Just haven't seen the limited ed in person though, so this is based purely on the info here

in most cases, kapag sinabing timing chain its maintenance free na talaga. pero siempre laging may exception. case in point,
nung nagpapa service ako nung Carens sa Kia Pasay. may nakita akong prev. gen Sorento (with the 2.5li CRDi) na pinapalitan yung timing chain.... nung tinanong ko kung bakit, sabi dahil maingay daw.... pero etong sa Elantra, since its gas engine prolly ok sya.
