Judging from the wheel gap that could be running on 18 inch. Wheel gap of the Accent on 215/45/17 (my setup) is already a tight fit as it is on stock.
FYI, you'll miss the comfort of the 175/70/14 stock wheels once you upgrade. Nakakamiss. Promise.
Beneficial ba talaga yun at ramdam talaga difference especially when cornering? May kakilala kasi ako nagpalagay. Thanks!
Posting this for interested owners....DRL for Hyundai Accent. Sample unit namin to so binibigay namin at a cheaper price kung sakaling magfit and no problems magiging regular price na. 5500 promo price, 6000 regular price. This does not include the foglights itself, so kung walang foglights nakakabit sa unit niyo ang gagana lang is DRL. Contact me at 09185353975.

Lower half ng wheel ang nakalabas ng onti, pero yung sa upper half (leading to the fender) suwerte naman at pasok pa.
For corners beneficial talaga.
You can go up to 17 or 18, basta up to spec ang overall diameter ng tires, not going beyond 3% of original. 175/70/R14 diameter is 602mm. Maximum diameter mo is 620mm.
Actually yung Hyundai dealer ko advised me they will definitely void the warranty if I go beyond yung listed tire spec sa sticker which is up to 195/50/R16 lang, kahit na alam ko pwede higher.
Ngaun, may mga nginig or garalgal na tumutunog s trunk or back seat pg mlkas n ung sound. Ano kya dpt gawin or ilagay? Hyundai accent 2014 sedan low end ung koche ko. Thanks
Guys, I've set my sights on a set of mags with the following specs:
15x7.5J
ET 30
I plan to pair it with a set of 195/60/15 tires with a with of 7J.
I chose bigger tires since I really hate scraping the humps in our village. My questions are:
Will the 7j fit the 7.5j wheels?
Will it cause any safety issues since I travel the expressways daily
Will it cause rubbing of the fenders & shock mounts?
Any inputs will be highly appreciated.
I installed 195/50R16 tires with 16x7JJ ET40 alloy wheels on my Accent hatch. Couple of issues: The wheels just barely cleared the brake calipers. Also, the tire side wall extends a bit out of the wheel well so mud gets slung onto the fenders.
A 7.5 inch width rim is too wide for the cross section width of the tire you plan to use (195 mm or 7.67 inches). Per my research a 6.5 inch rim is the ideal match, but you can stretch it out to 7 inches at most.
