Anybody interested for the 1.4 A/T mags with kumho tires? No scratches and my car just reached 7000+ kms.

Just curious, nakakabili ba ng 1.6 Accent rims? Sobrang laking pogi ng 16" over the stock 14". For me kasi masyadong maliit yung 14" for the GL models (and the hubcap design is actually better than the alloy rim), since the car has a huge body (for a subcompact).

Napapansin ko kasi lahat ng nagpapalit ng rims puro aftermarket.

    *jut703,

Medyo mahirap maghanap ng 16" Stock Mags ng Accent... Bukod sa medyo hindi gano'n karami yong Accent blue dito, eh most of them doesn't want to let go, as the stock itself is a looker na...

The last time I checked with my CASA, is 20k a piece... jezzzzz... 80K for a set... I could buy a Works XD9 na on that price....

sound proofing ng accent not so good. pag nasa slex ako and traffic, rinig ko yung mga lower frequency sounds. pag umulan naman, rinig mo yung tama ng ulan sa top ng car.
Yun nga, price difference ang reason.

And I like the Altis more than the Elantra, so if ever I'd get a car that's bigger. It will definitely be the Altis. Pero the Accent is just fine for my current needs.

Actually, I'm looking at a new city car lang. I have others to bring naman if ever I plan to have a long drive to somewhere. Pero I'd still bring the Accent up to Tagaytay on some occasions din naman. Not that frequent though, siguro 2-3x year lang.

    Thanks for the inputs sir!

You can get one sa CASA. Expensive though, it's as rare as the premium rims of the Tucson. You'll find one outside, definitely. Pero it's VEEEEEEEEEERY rare.

It's a JSP Ducktail, bought sa US no'ng hindi pa available dito. However, clifford body kit do have a very similar ducktail po, w/c is cheaper and exactly look the same.

    *renzo,

About PMS, iba iba experienced ng mga naka accent. I guess, bottom line is, every CASA has its own gimicks when it comes to making money...

However sa case ko, I always bring my own supplies (eg. Oil Filters, Oil, glow plugs, Air Filters, etc.). And my CASA never charged me with corkage fees. Howerver, some CASAs do charged as raised by some of the Accent owners...

By the way, my mod for the week:

    Leather Wrapped Center Fascia

    DIY Projects Involved:

Extended the sides of the 2 DIN Panel. May gap kasi of about 8mm per side. And I was never been comfortable filling the gap with black foam.

What I did, is use plexi glass, then use resin to bond the plexi glass to the center fascia. Then plastic fillers to smooth out the surface. I opt to have it wrapped, kasi on my experience, sooner or later, yong paint ng plastic vinyls would be chipping off in due time.. kaya, I choose to have it wrapped to leather rather than painting it.

However, things weren't smooth sailing during installation because of the double stiches. Ang hirap ipasok without those sides getting wrinkled. That's the best I can do for now... I might try shaving off 1mm of those sides to compensate the leather's thickness. I still have another trim at my disposal to try the above mentioned corrective measure...

Authentic leather po ginamit, left over from a previous bimmer series 3 reupholstery. Upholstery was performed by my suking shop dito sa cebu...

    Sir Meikey,

Paano mo na flush mount yung 2-din head unit. We have the same head unit pero sa akin naka labas ng 20mm.
Nag pa fabricate ka ba ng bagong bracket?

    Thanks.

Need your opinion regarding this Accent.

    Option 1:
    - Retain bodykits
    - Install fog lamps
    - Install OEM side mirror repeater
    - Install H4 Osram NB + H27 Solarzen yellow

    Option 2:
    - Remove kits & sell
    - Install euro plates with plate frame
    - Install front bumper rubber lip
    - Install OEM fog lamps
    - Install OEM side mirror repeater
    - Install H4 Osram NB + H27 Solarzen yellow
    - Custom rear fog lamp

Dropping is not an option, kasi girl yung owner. Baka sumayad lang Actually yung rear skirt sumasayad na minsan.

Personally, I choose option 2, mas malinis kasi tingnan eh

    Tingin niyo?

'La eh, baka lalo sumayad pag naka-drop na Pero medyo malaki nga fender gap.

    * Alam mo naman kung kaninong Accent yan diba

*SG, hehehehe ang linis ng accent ah...

Hehehehe, although iba-iba taste ng bawat tao, but for me, I'd go with option two din gaya ni sir Renzo. Napansin ko kasi, na-cancel out yong ***y lines ng accent because of the bulky looking kits...

My preferred choices are basically the same as your option 2, however I'll add up a trunk spoiler, and lower the ride for about 2-3 Finger gap... and it's good to go na... And since it's white, I'd like the car to sport a clear tints, Vcool or 3M clear tints perhaps (Although magiging takaw tingin sa mga "bukas kotse" gang)... Then an all black leather seat covers w/ gray double stitches...
