newbie here. May i ask, talagang desirable po ba iyong diesel na engine compared dun sa gasoline? Sabi kasi ng mama ko ayaw niya ng diesel eh.. ewan ko kung bakit.. pwede po ba paexplain.

The only reason I would not get CRDi is if low mileage ka. Kasi mas mataas talaga gastos mo sa maintenance nyan kaysa gasoline... Typical gasoline are just 4 liters, a diesel could go 6 liters tapos kailangan fully synthetic pa unlike sa gas pwede kang mag mineral...

old notions lang siguro about diesel, itim na usok, high maint or madaling masira

desirable ang diesel if you travel a lot, fuel savings + fewer gas stops, which will offset maintenance costs

actually yes lugi talaga pero ate ko naman ang bibili so maski papano okay na din..galing ako kanina sa Hyundai Marcos Hiway at talaga namang na kuha ng sonata ang attention ko,..hahahay...gumulo tuloy utak ko..

Yun P999K na Elantra sa pricelist sa lumang Elantra yun. It was a flop, never saw one on the road. CRDi nga yun pero pagkakaalam ko M/T lang sya available...

get only the diesel crdi sedan if you want race with evos and other fast cars. that's the only advantage of crdi cars.

sa fuel efficiency, hindi din kasi with the premium ng price na ibibigay ng dealers sa crdi car over a gasline car. yun difference pang-gas mo na for 2-3 years. and add to that mas mahal maint ng crdi vs. gasoline engine.

with the 1.4 liter neto bago accent, baka wala pang P600 yan sa regular oil per PMS

I know taxi operators like to buy cars that have spare parts available in most car stores. (like Toyotas).
