Hindi na kailangan wait and see, isang araw lang itinagal ng update balik uli sa low power, paglabas ko ng casa pauwi at ginamit ko pa after ok naman, no knocking and no low power. Pero kaninang umaga nung ginamit ko uli nag low power na after driving for about 5 kms. Haaay buhay. Nangamoy sunog na electrical na naman yung aircon while nag low power.

Bro, siguro pag naayos na yung Accent mo, ibenta mo na. Pag naayos.

Sir, so far ok naman takbo ng unit pero syempre bukas sabado na naman kinakabahan ako baka kse may time delay ang pag low power - well praning lang kse parang 1 week and tinatagal ng update peru in my case bago ECM.

Sa Balintawak ko nakuha yung unit pero pina warranty ko sa Greenhills kse sila naman ang nag update and nag guarantee sila na di mag lolow power so lumalabas sila dapat ang tumulong sa pag claim ng warranty.

Kaya ka lang siguro Bratski pina babalik sa Erod kse baka ang pagkakaalam nila ay sa erod ka nag pa-update nung first update mo, tell them na humingi ka ng tulong sa erod na ma solve yung update na ginawa ng Greenhills. May records ka naman na sa kanila na update yan.


Anyway, nag wowokwok sound parin sa hard acceleration miski na napaltan ng brand new compressor, pero baka nga compressor kse iba naman young rhythm ng wok wok nito so baka nga sa pagkakagawa ng compressor.

Wala bang explanation kung bakit ganon? Di kaya ECM ng 1.6 kasi linagay nila... At any rate at least they now have conclusive evidence of the issue and apparently a way to test for it.

They just kept ignoring the issue hoping it would not get much attention since they are apparently the dominant vendors for November and possibly December with the supply issues of Toyota and Honda. But really for the price to features the accent and fiesta really present a better option against vios and city.

Nabanggit nga kita dun kay mon yesterday, sabi ko bakit yung sayo 1 week lang nandyan na replacement ecm. Dami kasing inaalibi na parang ayaw asikasuhin yung warranty claim ko. Tatawagan ko uli mamaya si mon. Grabe todo pawis ko ngayon habang dina drive yang lintek na accent na yan. Kulang nalang tadyakan ko yung gas pedal lagpas ng firewall para lang umarangkada.
Si jayrb pala sabay kayo nag warranty claim, yung ecm niya wala pa daw. Isa pa yang aircon na yan, habang nag lolowpower during acceleration nangangamoy sunog pa. What a bad day!

Pahabol sir mexo, wala ka ba nabanggit na magsusumbong sa media or something? Kasi ang bilis nila aksyunan ecm replacement mo. Baka kailangan kasing brasuhin para kumilos. Ganyan din kasi sagot sakin sa erod, titingnan pa daw. Pwede ko kasing ipa media kaso ayoko na gumastos, alam mo naman sa panahon ngayon kahit kakilala wala ng libre.

Mga sir, im hearing also yung parang grinding/bearing like sound kapag nagaacelerate though not in a regular basis, kapag mejo matagal na siya ginagamit in a day. I've read sa mga previous posts dito same experience din with the MT owner, pinalitan ung gear oil. How about sa AT's? Will this also solve yung sound? Dadalin ko siya bukas sa casa for check up na din..Thanks guys.

Why not put a big sticker, like the whole rear windscreen stating "I will never buy this car again!" or something to that effect and use the car on major thoroughfares. The media might see you and would want to interview to know your story.

Bullet-proof as long as you use the right diesel... They're rare, but I know some people who have had injector issues also with Hyundai. ALL direct injection engines have issues with the local fuel.

Chicken or egg. You want to use whatever fuel you want, buy a less sophisticated engine... Like on an Isuzu Crosswind. (but I've also had to rebuild fuel pumps on Isuzus...)

Best tactic would be a claim of misrepresentation, that you were led to believe that you could use any type of fuel with the car. Other manufacturers put stickers on the car itself demanding minimum octane if it's octane sensitive.

si niky, in my unit's case i dont think there is any case of misrepresentation. before the update my engine would knock on every gasoline octane sold here in our country.that includes the lowest 93 octane up to the 100 octane of petron blaze. ive tried numerous stations from the big 3 oil companies,all with knocking results. so what else should i put in my car? jet fuel? now after the ecu update it got worse, now i dont have any knocking problems but i got stuck in low power. well no power would be the more appropriate term,it feels like i have a very very tiny engine under my hood. as it is the engine is really having a hard time accelerating on flat roads,much less climb mall parking buildings. its a disaster/accident waiting to happen. so what do i do? i dont use my accent anymore, until those &*'*&:- guys at hyundai process my warranty claims for a new ecu. which incidentally, they seem reluctant to do so with 2 dealers pointing finger at each other on who to process the claim.

Elevate it to corporate level, your records should be at the casas you had the work done at.

Let them know you're unhappy with the treatment you're getting from the dealerships... That should get something done, hopefully.

Hehe, christmas and new year kasi yung next 2 sundays. Alangan naman mag pasko tayo or bagong taon sa harapan ng Hari office. Sundays ang pinaka best day kasi aside from most of us walang work ay maluwag ang traffic. Saturdays naman kasi pinaka matraffic. And weekdays naman halos hindi na gumagalaw traffic sa makati.

Pwede naman ako weekday kaso madali uminit ulo ko pag sobrang traffic. Lalu na kung accent pa gagamitin ko sobrang stressed nako nyan. Update lang. After ko mabwisit sa hyundai greenhills kanina dahil hindi naman ako sinabihan na walang papasok na mekaniko, nagbakasakali ako sa hyundai erod pero fully booked sila. Hindi accent ang dala ko this time kasi may problema din yung isang hyundai ride ko.Nakipag chikahan nalang ako sa SA ko dun. Ang sabi niya LAHAT and quote "lahat" ng accent na nirelease dito sa Pinas ay may engine knock, sobrang dami na daw ang pabalik balik sa kanila pero wala daw solution. So sabi ko eh bakit yung mga bagong batch wala ng reported problems? Ying sagot niya tama sa hinala ko.

2. May mga owners na hindi naman alam kung ano yung knocking so binabalewala lang ito.
May mga units kasi like mine na as early as 300kms odo palang nag knock na. Yung iba after a few thousand kms pa. But eventually daw "ALL WILL KNOCk" sooner or later. Kasi iisang batch lang naman daw yang ecu natin.

Sana nga, ang problema sa hyundai/hari released cars is not about reliability, alam naman nating lahat na not all cars are perfect, may mga masisira dyan pailan ilan....but ang biggest problem nila ay PARTS AVAILABILITY. Hindi lang sa accent but sa entire lineup yata nila, pag may part na nasira it will take weeks to months bago dumating ang pyesa. And that is a big no no lalu na sa mga big companies na tulad nila na dapat na stock ng adequate inventories of crucial parts. When my hyundai rides gets older ibebenta ko na sila and im not buying hyundai ever again. Dahil as far as my experience goes, their after sales service sucks big time.

Dapat ata itong SA ang nakunan ng written or video statement para as evidence na matuloy na yung Lemon Law dito sa Pinas at nang hindi na mabiktima pa, intentionally or not, ng mga manufacturer defects sa mga future brand new car buyers.

Sama-sama na kayong may katok accent owners with your own cars as evidence tapos may back-up ng statement sa nakausap mong SA, eh malamang umusad na yang Lemon Law or at least mabilis maaksyunan mga accent nyo sir.

Kung wala pa ring mangyari eh... alam niyo na siguro ang susunod dito.

Hyundai Alabang yun nakausap ko. He was very confident pag sabi nya sakin ng details. "Ban na ang lahat ng ECU updating kasi may padating na latest version..para sa low power issue..".
Nung pagka reset nila ng ECU ko last month, gumanda response and FC, pero aabangan ko pa din tong upcoming update.
