All I'm saying is that no one can safely say that "all" accent rb have problems unless they can provide enough proof and backed by 100% numbers.

Prospective owners out there, don't be afraid to get the accent. Maybe just get the M/T model to be on the safe side.

I love driving my new accent - decent fuel economy and fun to drive. Now I'm looking at buying the Tucson naman

A/t or m/t ba ang unit mo? Swerte mo at hindi ka kabilang sa majority na wala ng knocking wala pang low power. As I've said, dalawa lang naman ang classification ng accent dito, either low power or may knocking. Yung akin may knocking for the first few months of ownership. Ngayon knock free ang accent ko dahil pina update ko ecu, but at the expense of low power. I can gas up even 93 octane and my unit wont knock, pero low power. Kinausap ko rin yung SA ko and ang sinabi niya sakin sobrang dami na daw nagrereklamo, pero wala silang magawa dahil wala pang solution. Pag pinalitan ecu ko mawawala low power pero babalik knocking. Baka yung unit mo was already updated when you got it.
Ang original ecu programming ng accent malakas talaga humatak, parang 1.6 ang engine mo, pag na update na siya humihina na parang 1.3 nalang (parang yung corolla na big body with the 1.3 engine). Ganun ka hina.
