balewala naman accuracy ng trip meter. since 2k5 nag-cocompute na ako nyan sa Ford Explorer EB namin. pampagulo lang

the best way si to full tank your car, pag naubos full tank mo ulit, then compute your total km.

in my experience, nag-iimprove lang ang fc ko is if i traveled to NLEX once every 3 months. since regular daily city, ang dali-dali ma-average nyan.

what i did is create an ms excel program computing my every refill since last year. then bumili ako ng nokia e52 and i loaded it there. dun mo makita kita talaga ang average fc mo. per full tank. sa gasolinahan pa lang alam ko na kagad once i input the transaction details of the full tank to the next row of spreadsheets. lagi nga ako sinasabihan ng gasoline boy bawal cellphone, eh sabi ko di naman ako tumatawag nag-eexcel ako

    Holy Week usage
    last checked computer: 9.8L/100km (~10.2KM/L)
filled up with 62.6L and KM reading after all the traffic/highway, etc. was 576.5 (or ~9.2KM/L)

    As emachine said; 100km/11.9li = 8.4km/li; 100km/11li = 9.09km/li
Still the best FC determination is by filling up, preferably from the same pump, and dividing your net km. rdg. by the liters used.
