Same thing happened to me, well, to my Dad. Right fender got clipped by a truck with only 700km on the odo on the GC. Haha! Took around 3-4 weeks for the repair. Hassle! One good thing about Hyundai's is their body repairs aren't that expensive. Cost for the replacement of the right fender only cost 7k. Though that excludes labor. Total cost of repair costed around 24k. Shouldered 9k participation.

17k for labor? did they paint the new fender sa casa? i was hoping kasi na they could replace my bumper and fender para no need for repaint. pero if they have to paint the items here rin, same lang pala.

good thing rin in my case, it was the bus driver's fault, so i wont have to pay for anything.

You can opt not to leave the car in the shop if you still wish to use it while waiting for the parts to arrive but its up to you. They will notify you anyway. But the car needs to be with them for a couple of days before they push through with ordering the parts since they will bring it to the insurance company to have it assessed. How big is the damage to your car anyway?

The damage on mine is pretty small. Scratches from right fender all the way to the lower right side of the bumper (parang outline ng tire), some dents on the fender, and a scratch on my side mirror light. Mahaba ung scratch and tanggal paint but i doubt they would replace the fender or the bumper. Where did you have yours fixed? Okay naman ba?

there was a comparo last year between camaro and the genesis coupe in one of the car magazine in the US (forgot the name of the magazine). genesis is slightly ahead but the author is more inclined to camaro.

AFAIK both Car And Driver and Motor Trend did a comparo last year between the Genesis Coupe 3.8 V6 and Camaro V6 and as usual the Genesis Coupe ang nanalo sa both comparo.

Halos 1.1 Million Pesos ang price difference dito ng Genesis Coupe 3.8 Liter V6 with Brembo Brakes at Camaro 3.6 Liter V6 2LT RS na both 6 speed A/T.

very good car! and those brakes saved me from a crash a couple of days ago sa slex a civic merged from filinvest, from the rightmost lane he swerved to the leftmost lane(passing lane) in one go. i was only going about 80kph but i had to slam real hard on the brakes. those brembos shed speed real quick. you get squigley on the side mirrors too. astig.
