Yes sir that can't be original. If you want porma, i suggest you go with 19's sir. If you are after performance, go for 18's.
You need to know the width and the offset of the rims you are getting sir. The rims might end up hitting the suspension and you might not be able to use it. sayang pera.
Yes sir!
18's or 19's, you are safe with +20 to +25 offset sir if you are looking to have your rims look good on the car. By that i mean flushness. I went with +20 and it sticks out. Stock is +35. So if you get rims that are the same offset, parang nagpalit ka lang ng design ng mags. It really depends on what look you are going for sir.
Ok thanks sa reply simpleonin. Ok go na go na ako sa GC!
May tunog ba yung stock BOV ng GC?
You can run it stock sir. But there are chances that the rims will hit the suspension so i suggest you test it out first. You have to be careful when choosing mags especially for RWD cars like ours. You don't plan to lower with car after the mags sir?
Wala po sir sound yung stock.
I'm still reading a lot of threads and articles regarding flushing, dropping, lowering, etc of the car. But up until now I'm still having a hard time understanding the need of those and that's why I really appreciate you answering my queries![]()
If I'm going to drop my car I have to deal with the notorious humps and pot holes in our street kaya dilly dally ako mag drop.
I've seen a lot of dropped GC and they look nice, kaya lang they are not from our country so maybe they can afford to. If I should lower the car mga ilang inches kaya?
if I change rims w/ the offset you suggested(+20 to +25 offset), does dropping the car will have a high chance that the rims will hit the suspension? tama po ba?
Hindi lang pala pamporma, will improve your handling as well pag lowered, given maganda yung springs mo.
Or mag Coilovers ka para maadjust mo height.
maririnig ang stock BPV pag naka short ram intake.
or go for HKS BOV nalang![]()
Welcome. My car's FC went up about 20-25% compared to when it was stock. Pero you'll surely love it!
Medyo mahirap nga daw, source direct from a friend who sells Bridgestone Tires and happens to own a 2.0 GC as well.
20's in GC? parang sobra na IMO. 19 is just perfect with proper offset.
Flushness is basically how much your rims come out of the fender sir. example:
With what you mentioned, i think you are better off going with lowering springs like eibach, with wheels about +25 to +30 para the tires won't hit your fender. Kasi if you are going for flush look, you should be running coilovers to avoid tires scraping the fenders.
I say no to 20 inch as well. Too much. 18 to 19 inch is perfect for a GC. As for the humps, when you lower your car, it's given that it will scrape on some humps. But that's why you should not go over humps straight on. Do EKIS as what filipinos call it.
+1 HKS BOV FTW!!!
^ No sir! I have BC coilovers on the way. I will install the rims and the coils sabay na.
kamusta nga po pala fuel efficiency ng base model ng gc? how much po ba sa city and highway?
Strictly speaking, the CMD is not a standalone unit. You will also need these at a bare minimum: (if you are serious about tuning that is)
Boost gauge
AFR gauge
Wideband sensor
Dynojet WB2
Maps are available from DynoJet's site; however, you still have to fine tune these with the help of the above supporting mods.
Tuning is by Vince of Spool Motorworks: 09|7 528 l368
I highly suggest you give him a call.
