Can anybody help? Is there a reliable auto shop for the Starex that's not a casa? Or kahit saan lang kasi madali lang naman? I am hoping that I don't have to go all the way to QC for it.

We have 4 GS the family, 3 CVX the other one is a local TCI M/T unit which we bought 2nd hand. Lahat ng GS namin di nakatikim ng casa, mga mekaniko lang sa office namin ang nagmemaintain. Pero nung nagpalit ng ATF dinala ko sa Motordoctor sa Marcos hiway kasi pinadialysis ko an ATF. Yung mga VGT models maselan yan sa ATF, binili ko dyan yun ZIC ang brand na specific para sa mga GS natin, I got it sa source ni Sir jaggerx3, mga 5 liters yata ang nagamit if I remember correctly.

Use only SP4 na fully synthetic for our ATF

Fuel filter. And kung di ako nagkakamali Euro IV pa engine niyan. Have the EGR cleaned sa goodgear sa pasay.

DIY lang yan, only 2 bolts to remove, then remove metal gasket and use that as a pattern for the blocking plate.

afaik walang filter sa likod. Nung pinalitan ko yung speakers sa likod isasabay ko sana linisin yung filter ng aircon pero wala ako nakita na filter e.

Location is on the passenger side at the back. Need mo tangalin yung plastic sidings sa loob. Disconnect mo muna ang battery terminals kasi may 1 exposed na wire na mahirap iwasan mag-short pag inaalis yung plastic siding. After disconnecting the battery, remove the rubber seal of the window and on the side of the door side and rear lift gate, then if i remember right there will be a few screws to remove. Then pry off the plastic siding from its clips, ingat mabuti baka mabali yung plastic parts.

I suggest to let the professionals do it. Ako besides the busted fuse due to the short e nagka-gasgas-gasgas hands ko sa pag-ingat hindi mabali yung clips. Also remember may 3rd row seats, nakaharang yun so di mo maaalis ng maluwag yung plastic siding kung di mo aalisin ang 3rd row seat. Dukot ginawa ko nung nagpalit ako ng speakers kaya todo sa scratches inabot ko.

Parang walang provision for installing a filter. May plastic housing yung evaporator. Binuksan ko wala ako nakita.

Vgt 2012 model sa akin, baka later models meron na.
