Has anybody ever experienced na bigla na lang di gagana ang speedometer for no reason at all? Nangyari sa akin kanina pero yung odometer is still working. I gave the dashboard a good hard whack tapos gumana na yung speedo after that.

What brand are you getting? I've installed but on a different ride though. Helps in traffic.

Hi guys! Just got my 2015 Grand Starex Gold CRDI VGT (10S) AT last 31 January and I have to admit that I'm a greenhorn when its comes to the GS. Does anyone know what type of bulbs are used (e.g. High-H1, Low-H7, Fog-H3)? Also what brand/type would make a good replacement to improve its output, night visibility and range?Would it be advisable to use bulbs with higher wattage?

It's not that I'm not satisfied with the OEM headlight/fog light set-up. Its just that being located in Leyte which is frequented by bad weather, I would like to have a better view of the road when driving at night during heavy rains or fogs.

    Thanks!

My headlight bulb had finally burnt out after nearly 6 years, I was never satisfied with the headlights to begin with, now I'm thinking of going HID, not the plug and play ones but the ones where a proper projectors would be fitted inside the headlight assembly. I know this is not cheap but then safety comes first since I use my GS mainly for long distance travels. BTW, my GS has covered only 17,000km in 6 years.

You mean the OEM lights lasted for almost 6 years? Tumatagal din pala ng ganun? What HID do you think would be appropriate for inclement weather?

17,000 km in 6 years means di mo masyadong titatravel ang GS mo ng long distance. I attained 1000 km in about 7 days.

Hi everyone! Just got my pre owned GS 2009 VGT last week. I know a bit off topic pero need to know talaga eh. Hope someone can shed light with my questions. 1st: nawala na po ba yung safety feature na you need to push the clutch all the way before you can start the engine? I used to own a gen 3 kaya medyo nagulat ako ng sinubukan ko sa GS ng bigla nag start in neutral with pressing the clutch. 2nd: another safety feature is when continously running above 40 kph for more than 3 secs all door will automatically lock if you forgot to lock the doors. And last sa gen 3 kasi di mo pwede unlock yung door when running above 40 kph pero ng sinubukan ko sa GS eh bumukas yung driver side door. Any answers would be very helpful para malaman ko din kung may kelangan ako ipagawa. Hehehe.... Thanks!

Being an owner of an '09 CVX A/T and also an '11 TCI M/T. I can try to shed light on some of the issues of your GS, with regards to the clutch that you have to depress while starting the van, ganun nga yung TCI namin kahit nagpalit na kami ng clutch disc, pressure plate at release bearing.

    *Ron,

Sulit magpa-HID with projectors. Ok na yung output ng morimoto h1, though if you have the budget consider the koito q5. If you want to go full bore, fxr.
