CRDi guys, pagawa niyo na yung EGR blanking. It does help with acceleration, especially from stop lights ;) And it literally does take 10 minutes to "blank". Mas matagal pa ang chikahan. Hehehe! ;)

TCi guys, ZIX888 needs pix or a unit to work on. Medyo iba ang location ng iba-blank.

sir IMm29... 10 minutes lang din ba for installation of blanking for GRX CRDI? just to clarify.. is the claimed 10 minutes blanking a software procedure or manual procedure of blanking the EGR?

Naku sir, that I do not know.

For reference, this is where the blanking plate was physically inserted. Kaya nga ang 10 minutes. Not sure where the GRX's is though.


ZIX888 also did a diagnostics check afterwards to determine if any error codes or CELs were triggered. None then, none since, so far. Have I redlined it, yes! Kakatuwa eh. But di naman madalas, at di ko pa nagagawa yung stress test ni CVT.

Actually ok yun MOA parking lot for testing. Ang haba ng lugar, lalo na pag bagong bukas! Hahaha! There was an old BMW 5 series and a Gen 2 Vios who were going at it there (since the floor was just opened for parking). Anyhow, bahala sila sa buhay nila.

ya looking at the picture now.. it can be done in 10 minutes.. from a GRX CRDI engine though... i doubt it can be done in 10minutes.. the intercooler itself will take about 10mins to remove. this is why i was wondering if it was a software blanking..

maraming points where to blank, kung saan minimized ang pag disassemble ng parts.



i encircled another option where to blank.

in monterosport, there are 5 points where you can do the blanking, so pipili ka lang kung saan convenient maglagay.

i dont think you can completely/permanently close the valve using a software.

The GRX's intercooler does cover quite a lot of the engine bay. But perhaps you can take pix of adjacent parts for evaluation.
