1st gen, 2nd gen and 3rd gen Starex. What is difference among the three

Thanks a lot guys! Any problem you about CRDi of Starex? Tulad D4d, Stalling or hard starting?

none whatsoever. i've been using all diesels from seaoil, unioil, jetti, shell, petron, caltex. never had a case of hardstarting even when it's cold and without waiting for the heater plugs to heat up either. lakas ng hatak, the engine does not care if there is just the driver on board or 9 people with luggage basta pumalo ng 2000 rpm kahit paakyat pwede ka umovertake.

i have only 1 complaint on the starex grx. the black undercoating looks more like paint and not rubberized undercoat. it has started to peel already from the wheel wells, so i will need to have it undercoated when i get home this may.

got my gen3 crdi a few weeks ago, ang lakas talaga ng hatak. walang sinabi yung everest ko and expedition dati. yung crdi engine pala ng starex mas hindi prone sa pagbara,unlike the d4d ng toyota. but still dapat ingat parin sa pagkarga sa gas stations na hindi kilala.

Nakabili ako last Dec 2008 ng Starex GRX M/T model 2007. Tama ang sabi ni yebo, kahit punong-puno ng pasahero at luggages yung unit ... hatak pa rin siya na tila walang mabigat na karga. Nasubukan ko kasi last week, doon sa zigzag sa Sta. Fe, Nueva Viscaya ... marami akong sakay pero mabilis kong nalalampasan yung mga mababagal na bus at big trucks paakyat ng bundok. Ang galing ng performance niya sa akyatan... pagkagat ng turbo... hala... hahataw talaga. Takot ako sa mga overtaking, pero with this kind of engine, confident ako lusutan sila.

Hi Sir Batista...about the SVX and Club Edition ng starex, sa observation ko, and difference dun dlawa is more on the additional ammenities at other visual differences...enumerate ko nlng...

Alam ko kulang pa pero ayan yung medyo madaling mapansin, dagdgan ko nalng pag may naalala pako...as for the price, ndi nman sila nagkakalayo ng price...nsa condition nalang nung unit nagkakatalo ng price...pero syempre kung side by side na parehong quality of SVX and Club, syempre medyo mataas ng onti ang price ng CLUB...payo ko lang, please see online classified ads to have an idea kung magkano current market price...good day!

Mga Sir, I would like to ask for your opinions which is better to buy, the 4th gen GS with TCI or with CRDi engine? These are M/T and 12 seater van. What are the big differences between them? 'Cause the price difference is about 285K between the two. Syang din kase... hehehe
