Hi there guy's, Im from Western Australia, I have built a Hammer based on a Nissan Patrol, I bought the body only in Australia, I replace the Nissan Motor and gearbox with a GM 3.8 V6 and 4 speed auto, the truck has a few mods from the standard and it is great off road and performs awesome onroad. Is there any one on this forum who has one that can share some pictures.
Cheers

Nice ride!!!
The original makers of the Hammer is based in the Philippines and is also a forumer of tsikot. His handle here is Jappy (if your Hammer body came from here).
I do noticed that your Hammer body don't have their AMC logo which is usually located on the lower part of the body under the front doors.

Yes the body is from Jappy, the original bodies had AMC on them but they have not had it for about 18 months now.

The body is made of galvanized steel. Different gauge thickness depending on area.
33x12.5R15 was the standard tire the last time I asked.
It has front and rear a/c outlets. But AFAIK, they are all driven by a single evaporator.

Jappy... okay ang media exposure ng Hammer sa movie in the making ni Ethan Hawke... check out rhino buggies website as posted by Hoppy.
Very good, I love this truck it gets alot of attention where ever it goes. It was easy to register here also, where I live it registered as anew vehicle so my title says it's a 2006 dualcab utility.
my friend is also building one, he has put a new custom interior into it with a digital gauge cluster, I will post a picture of the completed dash soon, here is a pic of the dash getting made.

nice work/upgrade. why don't he do a resin-fiberglass dash board instead. it is fairly easy to do actually (plus you can make it very light)
jappy... hello nakita ko puwesto ninyo sa lucena, nung pumunta kami kila ungas...
H2 kaya na ba... ok sana mag pa replica ng Search and Rescue tulad ni Ratchet sa TF
The dash is getting wired up at the moment, so here is a pic of one side of it.
