October 20th, 2017 08:28 AM #2a 5-year old car with only 13K km claimed odometer reading.
i know it is indeed possible, but... is it true?
and if they have to "tell an odometer in-accuracy", what else can they be saying in-accuracies about?
but if it were my brother selling it, i'd consider it seriously, that is, if i were looking for a car.
an MT?

^ bring a mechanic or someone knowledgeable w/ cars so the civic can be checked out for defects hidden or otherwise.

October 21st, 2017 01:19 AM #7do you trust the seller? are your vibes regarding the seller, good? is he on the level?
if yes yes yes, and... YOU ARE IN THE MARKET FOR A CAR... go!
but if you are not in the market for a car, don't. what for, eh?
fair price? go to the online cars-for-sale addresses and compare the advertised prices.
again... MT? are you sure, you want to drive this?
trusted mechanic? knowledgeable mechanic? well, good luck with those. i mean, i wouldn't know them if they handed me their calling cards.Last edited by dr. d; October 21st, 2017 at 01:22 AM.

October 21st, 2017 01:42 AM #8Hi Sir thanks very much for the feedback.
Assuming everything is as good as advertised. No issues and low milleage, is this a steal or just a fair price?
cant seem to find exact 2nd hand models anywhere.
by the way, what's the difference if the civic has only "1.8 iVTEC" on the back and the "1.8S" civic variants?

It's rightly priced for me. The 2013 1.8S AT is selling at 500k, so tama lang mas mura ng 50k sa manual, and if the odometer has not been tampered with, it's a good buy, not a steal.
The 1.8 iVTEC is the standard emblem placed in all 1.8 liter variants, referred to as S or V, and is not indicated at the back emblem. One can usually tell the S or V variants by the side mirror turning lamps, or the mag wheel design and size, if it's stock. The manual only has the S variant.
