No its not. Its a standard VTEC. VTEC-E was the one where the engine was designed more for fuel economy, AFAIK sa Europe lang nilabas ito... It was also found in some Accord's and Integra's...

i always thought the vtecs of the EKs released here had the vtec-e assemblage. so if they're not vtec-Es, what are they?

^ ph16 po... standard lang yung vtec dito satin. it still uses all the 16 valve.

vtec-e is part of the d15b series. this vtec uses only 12 valve on normal and city driving then kung hataw dun gagana lahat.

so standard vtec lang pala iyong ph16. kaya pala malakas sa gas

so sa 7th gen civics na nakatalaga ang mga vtec-e engines dito sa atin (the ones w/ vtec3 ES cars )?

how about the FDs w/ k series engines? parang vtec-e din ba siya?
